REQUEST What type of Bathroom Floor is this? (Australia)

I’m so sorry if this isn’t the right sub, I was sent here by elsewhere!

I recently damaged my bathroom floor by letting vinegar sit on it, I was dumb and hadn’t actually followed the right instructions for the type of flooring it is

I have absolutely no idea what type of rock this is, and before I go try repair the polish on it I’d love to know so I don’t mess up again

(These pictures have hard water stains on them though barely visible, they were taken before the damage occurred)

Roughly a 7 on Moh's hardness I believe, mostly as shown with white bits and a dark grey body that's ever so slightly blue(?) but I do have one image that shows some shiny inclusions I just noticed before posting this, finally it weighs almost six pounds, kinda boring but I think it's neat. Last image was where it was resting before I pulled it out.

REQUEST Very lightweight black glassy rock with translucent honey-yellow pieces

I found this rock in my attic, but I don't know where it originally came from. Probably Slovenia.

It's about the size of a fist and surprisingly lightweight, almost like a piece of wood. It has black, glassy-looking areas and translucent yellowish or honey-colored pieces. The rock is quite crumbly, and the white areas visible in the photos are just freshly broken surfaces. Some of the smaller fragments are slightly translucent.

This was left in my house by the previous owner. Had a strong chemical smell so I closed it up. This is New England but it wasn't found outside. Another subreddit directed me here so sorry if this isn't your specialty

REQUEST What is this hot pink rock?

I found this in 2004 at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, though I don’t recall exactly where on base.

A friend who collects rocks had me do some basic testing on it because she wasn’t sure either- she even suspected it was painted or dyed (like aquarium rocks). We scratched it on glass and it scratched the glass with zero damage or change in color to the rock. We then scratched it over a steel file and it scratched the steel file without any damage or color change to the rock. We scratched it on some porcelain and it didn’t seem to leave any streaks/powder. It is not magnetic.

I’m suspecting this could be “Mozarkite” but am not sure… I know it comes in pink but I can’t find a single example of this exact color… or even anything similar. The shades of pink all seem more of the typical pale pinks.

The texture is smooth. It does have some very fine glittery-ness to it (for want of a better term) when under a bright light. The back is white- I wrote on it and blocked out a name for the picture. Back in 2004 I used a pink permanent marker and wrote “X’s MO Rock…” 22 years later and the word “Rock” kinda faded to look more like “Back.” Not sure if that matters.

Any ideas? Is this just an uncommon shade of pink “Mozarkite?” I appreciate any info!

REQUEST Unknown rock

Obtained at a yard sale years ago, no information given. NWI/USA. Large and heavy, white/gray flakes on hand when handled. Initially i thought the red/brown was just dirt/matrix, but those parts have a defined structure and are shiny like a crystal.

These pics are dry, have not gotten it wet. Overhead indoor light, plus phone flash on some pics.

Thanks!

Look at the second picture for the exact location it was found (red/orange dot) in southern Arizona in a dry riverbed on a nature preserve where I was camping. It is hard and heavy looks to be some kind of copper rock from the color but I'm no expert.

REQUEST Found near the top of Guardsman Pass (near Brighton, Utah, USA). Extremely flaky and reflective black mineral in a matrix made of calcite and green garnet (grossular?). The black mineral is very fragile and is not transparent.

The black mineral comes across as being too brittle to be biotite, and is not flexible whatsoever. There are some rust-colored spots on it.

This is a rock I found off of rt 24 in Utah, outside of Capitol Reef np, north of the Fremont river near the entrance to Cathedral Valley.

The matrix rock is grainy. The inclusions are tubular, raised, hard, smooth, waxy, and translucent in parts. They have banding that follows the boundary of the inclusion.

The last photo is of a naturally broken face in the rock.

Picture is of wet rock.

What could it be?

Happy to answer any questions that might help in ID.
