So basically my sister is 12 and she's been really into webtoon lately. For the last few months she's been glued, reading almost daily for hours on end.

Today I checked her phone to see what she's reading but it's so much. I really don't know much about this myself and I can't really put every single one to search.

I'm wondering if I'm just worried for nothing or its actually serious? I wanna know if the webtoons she's reading are age appropriate and not toxic? I mean ofc all of them would be a little overage since she's 12 but pg 13 content is fine.

I just want to know if the content is explicit or too aggressive, like toxic tropes or dark romance.

Has anyone read the webtoon? If yes can you please summarise the story upto chapter 57 with all the important details??

I left it around 5-6 months ago ig accidentally and forgot the plot now but I'm planning to pick it up again now but I don't really have much time to read it all over again plus from what I remember the plot is kind of complex.

So, I have discussed this with a friend of mine, but I just feel the need to put it out there despite whatever may come of it. It’s a slow start so please bear with me.

So, for those not exactly familiar with this webcomic, it is basically a kind of requel (remake sequel) from this storyline that a guy named Pommu created that originally centered around these two guy friends who happen to reunite with an old childhood friend of theirs in college, a girl who when she was younger was a bit tomboyish and they basically just saw as another boy, but now in college, she has grown up to be quite an attractive young lady.

I can’t remember the original “story” exactly, but it was basically a love triangle type of feel, one guy being a bit nerdy and the other more sports oriented. The artist does do more adult oriented content at times, but this for the most part was more humorous and cute to me, showing the shenanigans that took place as these two guys kinda “fought” (but not really) for her affections kinda, though mostly they just hung out and it was a bit similar to old times, with the more spicy stuff available on their Patreon or whatever. From there, they then went on to make a prequel series about the girl’s parents, called Dragon Tamer… and from that series it led to… THIS.

Now, THIS series skews heavily from the original in my opinion, with the love triangle angle being dropped to have the more sporty guy now get paired with the girl’s older sister (I forgot to mention this, but she was also introduced in the storyline, she was essentially this girl with a foul mood who bullied the two boys and beat up the sporty one when he tried to stand up to her, which continued on even after they got older) while the nerdier guy got their childhood friend.

So here is my (probably) “unpopular opinion” about this series… IT WAS BETTER BEFORE THE FORCED PAIRINGS. Like, the love triangle angle just made for a more entertaining story to me, following these two guys who become attracted to their old childhood friend after the reunite, who don’t exactly fight for her affections exactly (like I said, they do all keep being friends and just hanging out with each other, but the two guys do still find her attractive and such) and the hijinks they all get into now that they’re all back together, showing instances from their past and then some mirrored moments in the future.

With these pairings, it just feels way too forced to me to feel like a natural thing… like, the original joke/role with the older sister was she kept scaring off her dates by coming on too strongly and being way too aggressive. That and being a bit of an ass who bullied and beat up the two guys (mostly the sporty one). Anyway, she was just a background character in THEIR story. But now she’s being brought out front with them and they decided to make one of the guys she bullied and beat up regularly growing up (the one that fought back against her trying to stand up to her) into her eventual love interest while her younger sister is now being paired with the more openly nerdy guy… and it feels like nothing is changed with her whatsoever (though that could possibly change as the series isn’t that far in yet, and honestly feels abandoned by the creator (which I’m not exactly complaining about)) as she still acts like an ass, bullies people at the college, picks fights with the sporty guy, etc etc…

Honestly, it really just felt like the character gained popularity due to being hot, so the creator decided to remake the story to involve her more, decided to use the “enemies to lovers” and “bully” tropes and forced sporty to be her paired partner, but didn’t have a real idea on where to take her to make her more than the original background character she was meant to be.

But that’s just my opinion on it. Hopefully no harm done here, because I mean no disrespect towards the creator whom I still respect and see as a very talented artist. It’s just my opinion of this one thing they’ve done.

I read this webtoon some years ago(I think it was a webtoon) and it was about this boy who could go into this dream world when he slept and there were these creatures, I can't remember if they were called shadows or something else. But the longer he stayed in this world he began becoming unable to wake up back to the real world and eventually anyone who decided to stay in that world would become one of the creatures. There was also this creature (shadow) that kept following him around in the dream world and it turned out to be like his mum or dad or something. Does anyone remember the name of it?

Why this version works

This is a short scene from my original manga-inspired series, Spirit of Fighting.

After the battle with Ra, Nori walks through the shattered godplane. Most of the other battlefields have gone silent (Thor, Zeus, Hercules, Shiva, Osiris), but one pocket of fighting is still active. Failank soldiers are holding a defensive line while she approaches, her armor already heavily damaged and her self-repair systems struggling.

The video shows the quiet aftermath and the weight of what’s still left to deal with.

I am at chapter 39 so far and it's crazy, I only read it for 2-3 hours, and I am a person who doesn't let stories effect my mental health but this, it effected my mental health a lot more than I thought.

Hii everyone! I’m new to Webtoon and I’m looking for recommendations. I like anime, romance, sci-fi etc, and when it comes to reading I’m pretty open minded in general.

For a little background I recently finished attack on titan (I know I’m late) but I’ve also watched shows like black clover, fire force, rising of the shield hero, banana fish, jjk, Naruto, one piece, and shows along those lines.

I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for, I don’t really know much about Webtoon at all! But hopefully everything I’ve mentioned above will help formulate some good recs, really anything to get me started will be greatly appreciated :)

So there is this webtoon.... If someone is currently reading it then please tell me its name because I can't recall it. So The Story one of the typical resurrection novel stories where the female lead happens to be from modern world and is transported back into a novel that she was reading then I can't recall the details after that I think she goes back after that or something like that and the main lead kind of makes a deal with some sord of witch to bring her soul back but then the witch safe that the soul belong to another universe and can only be travelled with the help of a rift so he as her to do like do whatever necessary so the witch keeps the condition that she would get to keep a part of his soul like his soul after dies and to make that kind of contract she decides to take a part of your soul but she is unable to for some reason which I can't recall but then she returnas that she did take the leg soul and the contract was made they bring the female lead back only your soul comes back and then it happens to go into some lady from their world but I am not sure I think that I can recall rn.
