Anyone missing a cat near Trinity Square?

Unfortunately there is a crushed cat, brown white tabby looks to be around 6 years old and was hit by a car near Ballybricken, horrible scene with blood and organs everywhere. Looks like a fresh scene, possibly done only in the last 3 hours. Very sorry for whoever’s loss. Please do not let your cats go outside during the night especially, accidents are way more prone to happen

Anyone else in agreement that the winterval every year
Gets setup earlier every year

Before starting to work on this video I had no idea Waterford was the oldest town in Ireland. Some of you might enjoy this 3D reconstruction of Waterford history from 914 to nowadays. I know there are some small rendering issues but I’m learning along the way.

Fresh Mackerel

Right lads I just need a bitta confirmation on a memory of mine. Now I swear this happened cause there’s just no way I must have dreamed it.

Well does anyone remember a man who used to go around the housing estates in his car. He’d sell fish from either the back seat or the boot of said car.

Now I’m pretty sure he used to have some funky sounding horn. He’d get out of the car anyways, usually in the middle of the street and start shouting ‘’Fresh Mackerel, does anybody what to buy some fresh mackerel’’.

Someone please tell me they remember him and I’m not going mad. Also he may have worn some sort of a cowboy hat too (I could be wrong with that one).

Thanks lads!

Primary schools

We’ve been putting in applications for our daughter to start Junior Infants next year, but since we’re fairly new to Waterford, I feel like I’m flying a bit blind!

I’ve heard good things about Waterpark and Newtown Junior School, though I know places are very limited. On the other hand, I’ve heard lots of positive feedback about the Presentation and the Mercy. Coming from Dublin, DEIS schools often had a certain reputation, so I’m wondering how DEIS status is generally perceived here in Waterford?

I’d love to hear local parents' actual experiences or insights to help us make the right decision

After doing the aptitude test I’m hopeful enough of getting an interview, is there any chance anyone would know what questions they usually ask?

Just wondering what organisations operating in the region do dog fostering?

Its something I've been wanting to do for a while now but am unsure where to start.
