I’m getting tired of this

I saw these new in Sainsbury’s the other month and they were £1 with nectar, a fair price i thought so tried the southern style and liked them for a quick on the go snack. Unfortunately haven’t been on offer since but i fancied some again today and thought i’d pay the £1.50 for the convenience but there was only one 60g southern style bag on the shelf and the rest were noticeably smaller, but no updated price tag. Decided to grab one 40g southern and a 60g roasted flavour to see what the price difference was… they both cost £1.50.
Why???? Sorry just wanted to vent im so tired with these games

Recently I had a friend give me dairy products without my knowledge

Recently a friend came around who isn’t vegan but has dairy allergies. She brought around a range of different vegan snacks for us to share. One of the snacks included an orange chocolate cake similar to Jaffa she said I brought these around for us to share as they are vegan and handed me one. I didn’t think to check where she buys a lot of vegan snacks because of her allergies, she knows I’m vegan and she said they were vegan so I didn’t question it and eat it. I then went to order these in my Asda shopping and saw they wasn’t advertised as vegan. I read the ingredients and saw they were milk free but contained eggs. I felt really upset but I thought she must have thought they were vegan. So I politely told my friend about this so she was aware and do help avoid it happening. I thought she was going to say sorry but instead said all the best things have eggs in. I know I should have took responsibility in asking to read the box but when someone is telling you something is vegan why would I think any different 🤷🏻‍♀️am I looking at this wrong or should my friend have apologised after making this mistake instead of just saying all the best things have eggs in them?

And it fucking suuuuuucks.

Aldi Oat milk was genuinely one of my favourites, on par with yellow moma and oddly good.

They just had to change the recipe, didnt they... now it's thinner and tastes more watery. Doesn't really get my coffee "milky" anymore.

Food cupboard items

Not stockpiling but going to consciously buy more tinned/ canned/ jarred/ cupboard food over fresh in my bi weekly shops. My electricity went off during the storms and I realised that I don’t have anything in my cupboards at all. I prefer fresh food but it’s a bit silly to have nothing for emergencies.

Aside from baked beans, what do you keep stocked in your cupboards?

What’s happened to La Vie meat subs?

Whatever has happened to faux ham from La Vie? It seems for months now that we haven’t been able to buy it from U.K. supermarkets and have even emailed their Head office but had no response.

We have been buying vegan quorn but prefer La Vie.

How far do you go with your veganism? (no wrong answers btw)

I know we all have different stances on how far we should go but

there's no 100% objective answer and a lot of it is based on how we

personally feel so l'm curious how we all differ in our methods to be

vegan. NO JUDGEMENT ZONE ⚠️ 🚨

I'm aware the poll isn't going to be accurate I'm more interested in the discussion in the comments. But the poll is there for people who don't want to bother typing it out.
