In comparison to rules to Guillaman the main leg up lion has is the 3+ invuln, mortal wound FNP, and uppy downy. Granted Guillaman is the author of the codex but he has debatably better shooting, melee and unit support given all units not just ultramarines within 6” reroll 1s to hit and wound on ranged and melee. Where Lion only supports what 3-4 units and whatever dark angel character units you have. Lion is just a 415 melee bomb but at that rate could just run so many other units to fill that role. It might not be very noticeable, but the upper part is way too heavily saturated with wash. I liked how it was coming along at first, but I just couldn't achieve the same effect on the upper section as I did on the cuff or the left leg. I don't want to strip the paint off—and for those interested, I use Vallejo paints.

I’m fairly new to this hobby and have started building my greenwing 3rd company and love sorting them into fairly lore accurate squads;

1st squad - intercessors
2nd - infiltrators
6th - aggressors
7th - jump pack assault intercessors
8th - incursors
9th - eradicators
10th - hellblasters

I have put aggressors as battle line even though they are probably 9th/10th squad.

Would be cool to hear what anyone else has done with their organisations!

I am aware angel green by army painter exists. But I really like the cool dark bluish green look that caliban green gives. The only problem is I hate the pot system. Any alternates other than angel green?
