So my thinking is if i bulk them up with a little with a wider chaos backpack they should be a good proxy since they’re both on 40mm bases? Im wondering if anyone owns both and could do a size comparison

Small details for my Inner Circle Companions.

I recently got the Warpforged sprue and I love the big heavy armor vibes of the contents. What kind of kit bashing would be good to help make them fit more with a Fallen vibe? Beyond just a paint job.

Sort of a take on marbas without any actual kitbashing

Here's a WIP of a fallen ive kitbashed from the master of possession kit for a local painting challenge, the challenge was that we had to roll to select our 6 paints which were the only paints beside the base coat we could use for our scheme.

I'm currently trying to decide what to do for the base (base isn't under the same palette restrictions), but if anyone has any thoughts or criticisms, I'd love to hear them

The top hat hatch doors are not yet glued: not sure what direction they should be facing and if it needs some more weathering. Issue is that I’ve gone for the salt rust technique and that’s using the same sort of browns. Maybe just a light sponging of black and some chrome? I might sleep on it: this is my first real freehand effort so I am cautious about overdoing/ruining things.

Thinking about putting a Watcher on top of him, as like he would be controlled by him. :D We’ll see.

It was the first time I ever used Tesseract Glow Technical, in some ways I liked it but I'm not 100% sold on how I used it.

I specifically chose to make the Tyranid Warrior's head to be that of Hive Fleet Kronos, as they are anti-Chaos and felt like it would be a flex for a Chaos Sorcerer to have defeated some of their forces.

The freehanding on his cape was fun.

The freehanding on his younger brother's shoulder pad it was more difficult for me.

Was a bit dissatisfied with my latest model, so rushed this guy a bit to cleanse my pallette

I didn't give my new pot of black paint a good shake with this one, so the black ended up a bir chunky and glossy, amateur mistake on my part.
