also!! they’re two separate tattoos hence the words being on each hand rather than spelled left to right..

I didn’t want the W and N from slow down to be moved up a knuckle and I really love the tattoos overall.

I have a few hand tattoos including one on the side of my palm that have all healed nicely with minimal fading in 10+ years. I hope to have some good news for you all once these are healed lol

Question/Advice QUESTION: What Way Should You Face An Inner-Forearm Tattoo?

UPDATE: I have read most comments, and have decided I will have it so it’s not facing me. I appreciate everyone’s advice about either getting it larger, or a different design so it doesn’t turn into a giant ink blotch. Maybe I will update this post after I get my tattoo done:)

I (19F) am going to be getting my first tattoo in the next couple weeks. I am wondering, what way is an inner-forearm tattoo meant to face? Below I used photoshop as an example of what I want. Which do I get? Any advice?

In Progress Almost finished with Bio-Organic wings back piece by Joe from EastBay Tattoo in Oakland, CA

Four 3.5-hour sessions down, and just one more to go for the finishing touches! I adore it so much. The way the wings move with my body makes them feel like they’re truly a part of me. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more like myself.

I still love it so much. Love how pigmented the greens are. The idea behind it was that I can enter any door I choose to open in life. Anyways, my artist is great. I still make the trip to go get work done despite having moved 500 miles away now.
