Is it me or does tattoo pain get worse with age..

I got my death head last October and my blue pansy three weeks ago. I love the death head so much but I'm still warming up to the blue pansy.... I like it but there's just a bunch of tiny things and shading I will have her touch up. I'm planning on getting bigger vines around my ankles to fill in the space and make it more a completed piece. The last picture are touchups. I'm thinking about adding to make the blue pansy on par with the death head.
What do yall think?!
