One thing I've noticed reg. Tamil Muslims are, apart from using 'Allah', in Tamil, they use the word 'Iraivan/இறைவன்', in particular near-exclusively (when it comes to Tamil), to address God,

Sure, they do use the more "generic(?)" and more common 'Kadavul/கடவுள்' too, but it's not as common, especially in more "formal" settings, and I feel the use of Iraivan has a deliberate intent to it, as that's the word they use in more formal and ceremonial settings (sermons, duas/prayers, devotional songs/nasheed, etc....)?

As in there's a monotheistic aspect to that term that "captures" and encapsulates the Arabic/Muslim term 'Allah' and how God is perceived and understood in Islam?

On an additional note: do Tamil Hindus also use Iraivan? Mostly, they seem to stick with 'Saamy சாமி' or 'Kadavul' to address God. Are there any particular sect or community where they use Iraivan?

I've noticed, though maybe I could be wrong, Christians otoh, use the word 'Aandavar/ஆண்டவர்' to address God, otoh, rarely have I seen Muslims use this word, even though Christians are also monotheistic, yet....I find it interesting how they use different terms to address God, which is what makes me wonder if there's a deliberate intent behind all this? (otoh, do Christians use 'Iraivan' in their sermons and rituals?)

As a music production team, our mission is to take ancient Tamil literature texts that are usually taught in dry classrooms and flip them into hyper-exciting, grand cinematic orchestral music—making them sound like an epic Hollywood movie score.

We have just released our cinematic musical interpretation of Thirukkural Chapter 4 (அறன் வலியுறுத்தல்). For this track, we focused heavily on building a massive live instrumental atmosphere layered with cinematic rhythms to bring out the true emotional gravity and timeless power of Valluvar's verses.

We want to make sure we are honoring the classical depth of the language while keeping the musical arrangement fresh, modern, and exciting for the younger generation.

Which chapters or classic Sangam poems do you think deserve an epic, cinematic orchestral treatment next?

I cannot write in tamil. But I am almost done generating a wedding card using AI programming. However, AI (many AI clients) cannot write down this Name in tamil keyboard letters. செல் ... The 4th letter cannot be identified. Can someone in the community help me? I would really appreciate it.

I'm a tamilian but born and raised in Bengaluru so all I learnt is half Kanada half Tamil.. I'm struggling with pronouncing this name Ezhil .. I even tried watching YouTube but so far 🤷..

Did movies or something help specifically ? I know there's some similarity but how can I pick it up easily. I did try some watching some movies, the dialogues are just too fast or I cannot retain it.
