How would you guys feel about a survival horror game set in the Vietnam War?

Stick with me here.
I've been thinking: Compared to WWII or the Middle East operations, there have been noticeably very few popular games set during the Vietnam War. Yeah, Black Ops had a pretty long chapter devoted to Vietnam, but not much of that was especially memorable.
I think where we go wrong is that we always try and capture the mericah fuck yeah, kick ass, fuck bitches route. Some games went for a more realistic route, but in the end you always end up seeming like some unstoppable, invincible killing machine that spits bullets and pisses fire.
I want a survival horror game that captures themes similar to Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Born on the 4th of July, Hamburger Hill, Casualties of War, The Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, and many others. This being that war is terrifying, and from day one you are fucked. When was the last time you played a survival horror game and hadn't been as terrified as, say, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard? Because you damn well should be. Terrified, disgusted, and wishing you could go home.
So think about it: survival horror in Vietnam. Imagine playing as a lone surviving U.S. Marine in an overrun base, avoiding both hostile South Vietnamese troops and potentially paranormal creatures from Southeast Asian mythology. You witness your only support die around you as, in the back of your mind, you're yelling "oh shit oh shit oh shit" because you know the odds are stacked against you. You are afraid of what comes next because you honestly aren't sure if you can handle it.
An interesting thing in the game could be hallucination. At some point in the game, after seeing the most fucked up shit you've ever witnessed, you will start to lose your grip. During a pitch-black monsoon, every flash of lightning reveals 10,000 invisible VC's in the trees, or stacks of corpses squirming. As you walk through a jungle, you can hear deep rasping and heavy footfalls behind you, and you turn around, only for the wind to greet you. At one point, your squad is massacred most disgustingly, and you are left cowering in the rain and blood with just a flashlight.
This would be one of those things that would be tricky to do right, but parts of the Vietnam War seem more survival horror than anything I can think of.
TL;DR: FPS games set during wars don't capture how horrible it really is, and Vietnam would be a perfect setting, what with all the terrifying things that went down (think Platoon)
