Sons of Medusa, finally done with this battalion box, onto the terminators.

Hello guys, browsing through Ebay to see if I find something interesting I noticed that there are several variations of captains/termie captain. Does the model that you choose affect the loadout or you can choose whichever you like the most (or cheaper)?

Like there are 2 termie captain variations and also found few diff captain models (excluding Phobos, gravis..etc)

Extra question: what does the relic shield add to his data sheet? I’m a complete noob but when I add it I see no difference?

I really dislike this pose. Every box is going to look the same a squad of 6 will have two of these guys. Every one will look the same. Show me your conversations they can't all look like this surely?!

I sculpted and printed a number of custom parts for him: the cowboy hat, poncho, revolvers, holsters and a few smaller details.

What do you think? Anything you’d add or change before I start painting him?

The librarian with lighting claw terminators are on board the repulsor to get onto a objective with the repulsor as support.

My captain,10 hammer terminators and

the Intercessor with jump packs with be up in reserves. The jump packs to help with secondaries while the terminators will be used to take out vehicles/monsters.

The Techmarine will be with the lancer to help keep it up to health. While the the Ballistus Dreadnought will help with some killing. The Brutalis will be running into combat to break though units while the terminators move.

The heavy intercessors will be my objective holders with thier ability to be a bit tougher on objectives

How you like him guys?

Used some extra Intercessor bodies plus the extra weapons from my Deathwatch kit to build up a second squad; instead of Deathwatch, they’re Red Hunters, an inquisition allied space marine chapter from the Siege of Vraks book.

Really enjoyed kit bashing these guys and super happy with how they came out!

I play Tyranids and keep beating my friend by an absolute landslide in our games and I don’t know what to do. His list isn’t great but he refuses to acknowledge that and just puts it down to Tyranids being “overpowered”. He also just consistently plays poorly which leads me to having to lie about my dice rolls towards the tail end of our games so that he can actually kill things. How do I make the game more fun for him without just purposefully throwing every game to a certain degree?

I've magnetized my Stormraven's canopy and want to do the same to my stormhawk. I want to use them as terrain and be able to have the pilots removable, so I don't want to glue the glass in permanently.

The stormhawk canopy is all glass though, and doesn't have anywhere that's easy to drill and add a magnet.

I slightly cracked the shield while putting the magnet in, and then added cement to get rid of the crack, and it melted the glass in the upper panel and gave it a wavy texture. The magnet did work, and is pretty under a section of the frame that I'll paint, so it kinda worked, but the glass is pretty rough.

Has anyone else successfully magnetized the stormhawk canopy? How?
