All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format:
>!RDR is a great game!<
gives you:
RDR is a great game
If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling.

Hi everyone! Decided to pay the game a visit and capture it before moving on. I'm originally from the gta community, my work is mainly product showcase and trailers. However I've always been fascinated by this game and recently decided to go outside of my comfort zone and capture a few titles due to progress on my own end for tooling.
Been quietly observing this community and I've gotta say yall chill af. You have it pretty well over here in comparison. Envy is the word I'm looking for i guess. Anyways the actual video... I don't want to self-promote by posting links, its over on my channel and its 54 minutes long (it's a one-shot across the whole map) so if anyone wants to see the whole thing - write my nickname in youtube.
Also about mods used - public ones, none. I develop my own stuff to do the things I do. Also that swirly effect at the edges, it's not a screen-space effect its an actual lens. Google "Petzval lens", they were originally made in the 1840s - hence the reason why I used one to shoot the entire thing. Cheers.

Just to clarify: Red dead redemption averages between 93 up to 150 GB, off course this depends on the platform and the amount of content/updates downloaded but generally speaking.
GTA VI its gonna be the King in this aspect

Despite the first Red Dead Redemption being a really good game that still holds up for the most part, I would argue that one of its greatest weaknesses is the final stretch, after John gets Dutch and returns to his family. Most of the missions, except for “The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed”, aren’t as exciting as the rest of the game, and I felt that the epilogue being only one mission was a wasted opportunity.
So I’ve been thinking: what changes would you make if the first game’s epilogue was structured as a whole series of missions like Red Dead 2? We’re not talking about two entire chapters, but as I said, more missions overall besides just “Remember My Family”?
Personally, some changes I would make are:
1)Meeting characters that helped John previously again, such as Marshall Johnson, West Dickens and Bonnie Macfarlane. The latter may very well be helpful in avenging John, given that she was quite close to him and he saved her life.
2)Seeing Mexico under Reyes’ rule, after he becomes dictator of the country. It would make sense, given that you do need to travel to Mexico to kill Ross after all.
What changed and additions would you make?

I've been sitting at it for four hours now, tried both the quick-cancel as well as the 12 cent bet strategy and nothing, NOTHING.
I decimated all of Van Horns population after my patience ran out.
Fuck this dumb challenge, for real.

After finishing my first playthrough, I finally understand why so many people choose to stay in Chapter 2.
The gang is still a family. Dutch is still the charismatic leader everyone believes in. Hosea is around, people are singing by the campfire, and there’s still this feeling that everything might actually work out.
Arthur is healthy. The camp is beautiful. Valentine is just down the road. Micah can rot in jail. There’s hunting, fishing, exploring, and absolutely no reason to rush anything.
But I think the biggest difference is that now I know what’s coming.
The first time around, you’re eager to progress. You want to know what happens next. You don’t realize that those random conversations at camp, the singing, the fishing trips, and the quiet mornings are actually the good old days.
And that’s what makes it tragic. Arthur has no idea he’s living through some of the best days of his life.
The whole gang is chasing this idea of freedom, stability, and somewhere to belong. Meanwhile, for a brief moment at Horseshoe Overlook, they pretty much have it.
So yeah, this time I’m taking it slow. Dutch can keep his plans, Micah can stay in Strawberry, and Arthur can enjoy a few more peaceful mornings.
Now I get it.

When Arthur first arrives in Saint Denis and is asking about Angelo Bronte, he's given the option to interrupt a conversation between the bartender and his patron. I'm playing a morally ambiguous Arthur, but I'm still choosing to allow the conversation to progress. My reasoning is that Arthur is kind, but will do ANYTHING to support the gang. What do you all typically choose in this scenario, and why? I'm very curious.

Congratulations to the gaming community on the anniversary!
I still remember the exact moment I realized that this game was something entirely different. It wasn’t just about the Wild West aesthetic or the incredible open world—I was struck by the depth of the characters, the quiet moments around the campfire, and a story that genuinely broke my heart, only to put it back together again. RDR2 ceased to be just a game and became a world I fell completely in love with ❤️
My cosplay is a tribute to a masterpiece - one that stays with you long after the closing credits have rolled 🫶 And, naturally, I want to share it with all of you, my fellow kindred spirits!

I keep seeing posts (especially on YouTube) asking who the "best person in the gang/game is", and the option will always include Charles Smith and he'll win out by a large margin the majority of the time. I have seen Charles turn someone's head into a mashed ball of red pimento cheese more times than I can count, and thats on top of him being an active member of a gang who robs and kills people just minding their own business (usually).
No one in that gang is a good person except Jack, only by the nature of being literally a child. I want anyone who's reading this to put down their favorite character and the worst thing they've done. Could be Arthur, could be Kieran, hell I'll even take The Devil guy in that cave you meet once, just give me something morally bleak.
