I started r/CoParentingRealLife for practical conversations about divorce with children and co-parenting: handoffs, forgotten belongings, shared expenses, boundaries, holidays and small wins.

Purpose of this subreddit:

This community was created after I spent some time in some pro-AI subreddits. As a neutral myself, it was frustrating to see extremist pro-AI people who harassed those who are innocent and constantly made ragebaiting posts and downvoted everyone who shared at least somewhat anti-AI opinion, with mods that did nothing about it and even banned adequate anti-AI people and removed valid anti-AI leaning points.

Since there is already a lack of pro-AI spaces in media, and many of those have issues mentioned above, I decided to at least attempt to create a somewhat adequate space for people who disagree with these members of the community and that are more open minded and willing to discuss stuff. Also, I am just overall frustrated with people on Reddit, so this could be count as an attempt to show the brighter side of this platform.

So, if you're an adequate pro-AI, neutral, anti-AI who wants to be with pro-AI people in good faith, or simply tired of extremist people on Reddit and want a community with same-minded civil people, you are welcome to stay and contribute to this subreddit.

I started r/AnomalyUniverse about a week ago: a free, original shared universe of creepy anomalies, written by the people who join. Everything is made from scratch, nothing is for sale, and every contributor is credited for what they write.

We've grown from zero to 20 members, which surprised me. I didn't expect such fast growth for a community like ours, but I'm glad for where we are. The fiction written by our members is outstanding, and I never imagined how creative ordinary people could be.
