This EP by TesseracT "Perspective" has completely enraptured me the entire past year. Most of the time acoustic covers are unnecessary for bands, but this EP totally transformed some of the best songs off of One and made them into their own beautiful pieces of music. Are there any bands or songs that capture this energy? A progressive acoustic sound? I love Elliot Colemans voice on this too, so vocals like his would be the best if you have any recs. Thanks!

for me it's Dvota

Woke up this morning with like 3 songs from "Memorial" in my head. Now I'm listening to the album while grinding in an MMO. Sometimes it feels good to dig in the butt a little.

Haters of this album might say that this song is too simple for this band, but I think this song is the best song on Coma Ecliptic.

very cool

This should be in the Hall of Fame.

I followed the contrast between Chaney Crabb’s clean voice and the pressure around it, then stopped where repeated refrains began to flatten different kinds of loss. And the heaviest sound was never the whole story, rather it was recognition.

What are some of your favorite Dream Theater riffs and guitar parts? I always get a kick out of hearing others favorite moments guitar-wise from Petrucci

An original progressive metal epic all done by myself! It features clean and screaming vocals. Singing is nowhere near peak James Labrie, as it is very Dream Theater in structure. But I do what I can with myself as I am making my debut album. Enjoy! 💜

Hello all, I am the lead guitarist/keyboardist and main composer of the Canadian prog metal band called Octavium! Another member of this sub suggested I drop the album here after putting our song "Washed Out/The Purge of Light" with the funky sax solo on another users post asking for original content. This album is packed full of interesting concepts, recurring themes, it includes a hand made fretless guitar in some sections that i built, i also do the baritone/bass vocals in the song "Grieve Your masters" and I also play one of the bass parts in "Washed Out".So without further ado, here is our album "Bloodleaf Ritual"!
