I'm designing a standing support system for outdoor and travels. Which would be more supporting or stable?

-the standing rods are adjustable in length

-the leaning panel is adjustable in inclination

- the thing can be folded and fit in a bag

I'm New to design, preparing for a college. I would love to get any kind of advice :)

I'm a recent computer science graduate who focuses on the creative side of tech i.e Product design and Front end development for now. I've worked on a few projects for myself and some friends and I'm trying to advance more in Product design and creating a Portfolio for my job hunting journey.

I've used a couple of sites so far like Dribbble, Behance, Pinterest and recently Mobbin. Some gives me mood, inspiration but sometimes the design that intrigues me there has no flow or case study that I could use especially Dribbble. I know this requires a lot of research to find something close to perfect to use but it's just getting frustrating.

I just want to know how you guys find inspiration for your product designs when you need a flow and if the premium version of these sites are worth it. As well as your experience in this field.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to use Claude + Figma more effectively in my actual product design workflow, especially when working within an existing company design system.
Right now, I feel like I sometimes spend more time prompting the Figma agent, waiting for changes, and correcting things than I would if I just made the changes myself 😅
For designers who have actually integrated AI into their day-to-day workflow:
How are you using Claude/Figma agents in a way that genuinely saves time?
I’m especially interested in things like working with an existing design system, iterating on existing screens, exploring variations, prototyping, or handing off production work.
Also, are there any good tutorials, courses, examples, or people you follow that show real workflows rather than just “generate an app from a prompt” demos?
I want to actually practice this and get good at it, but I’m not sure what workflow is worth learning.

I work in a company that makes refrigerators and other refrigerated furniture. We work mostly with steel

I'm not a product designer, I actually work in the HR department. But, since it's a small company, I end up being the one that manages the programs we use.

We are currently going from 2D product design to 3D.

Our employees work with AutoCAD for the 2D and we have one starting the project with Solidworks (2017 version)

We want to buy a new 3D design program and we stumbled upon Alibre Design

What are your opinions on the software?

We have a 50/50 mix of standard product and personalized product. We work with steel. And we are a small company with 3 designers

This purifier sold in india comes with a tapered sharp knob that is so slippery sometimes, it's so badly designed and I was frustrated so I came here to rant.

I do understand the manufacturing aspect of it, it's just badly designed coming from a customer point of view, I just thought I should let everyone know who might buy this purifier.. they really cheaped out on a lot of things like this, the silver plastic housing just came out the other day near the drip too.

It's a live pure bolt water purifier and I would strongly recommend against it, because of its build quality.
