This striking Symbolist piece captures a quiet moment between the knight Raymondin and the mythical fairy Mélusine. Jean Dampt utilized a mix of steel, ivory, and gold to contrast the rigid texture of the armor with the soft form of the figure.

Artist: Jean Dampt (1854–1945).

My baby girl just turned 4. I love her so much.

Almost done growing but still just a little guy in his heart.

Tatertot has renal hypoplasia and is in IRIS stage 2 kidney disease but he is maintaining good function and very slow decline based on labs, which is all we can ask for with this condition.

Just reposting my favourite pic of my crestie because he is beautiful and stinky and violent and perfect. Here he was gazing at an incoming cricket on a pair of tongs in low light. Night sight used on my camera.

Had a ton of fun setting this up again this year. I was able to actually light everything up this year and I love the effect! Drilled right through the base and folding table so it's all wired underneath. I've got enough of these houses that almost all of them are different from last year's display. Happy Halloween all you Pumpkin Kings and Queens!
