Help My Creeping Jenny Isn’t feeling too well…

Thumbnail

I recently got 3 creeping jenny’s and the long vine leaves are turning brown and not growing, they are currently bogging and next to the brightest window we have.

I cut one all the way down and shoved some of the leggy stems back into the soil to regrow, there are some new growth coming out but the long vines are static.

any tips?

also i understand that it’s getting to be colder and shorter days so that also could be the issue.

What is this brownish goo?

I've checked the stem and it's solid, no rot, and goo isn't coming from the plant. Some snails in the goo. We just had a week of rain.

Winter is coming and I’ve only had you but a brief moment 😢 (lol just wanted to vent this small frustration of saying goodbye to these incredible friends) - don’t use Reddit that often but since I’ve started my plant journey recently.. thought it’d be nice to have a community to post in and get advice. Hello y’all’s ✌🏾🌱

Success Peperomia leaves growing roots in water

Post image

I am pleasantly surprised by this!

I am propagating peperomia stems. I removed the lower leaves and placed them in water, intending to propagate them in soil. Time got the better of me and the leaves have been sitting in their little glass for about three weeks. To my surprise, three of the five leaves are sprouting roots!

Success Was not expecting them to do so well in this small pot

Was kinda expecting them to die Ngl. I’m a succulent owner, I don’t know much about Ivy and research told me to not plant them too close. Got em July 2nd and now it’s October 27th 0-0

Some context: I was a plant vender for the season and they were getting ready to throw away a lot of plants (Walmart throws away SO many plants omg) so I took em home before leaving til next year but underestimated the price of pots and soil (as usual) so I just kinda hoped for the best but expected the worst lol

Help When to harvest garlic?

Thumbnail

I've grown this garlic shoot from a regular kitchen bulb on a random whim and it sprouted after a few days. fast foward like two weeks and it's really shot up and it's got me wondering when exactly I'm supposed to harvest the stem (pretty sure those are edible). Can any experienced garlic growers give me a date/signs?

Also, I have it growing in like four(ish) inches of kinda mid soil and my mom's hellbent on it growing bulbs underground. any chance of that happening?

Thank you :D

Is this is kind of plant to chop up for propagation?

IDK what kind it is but the stems is softer/waxier than a pothos. There's just the one stem with roots, everything else is branched off of that. Looks leggy and sad...

Trigger warning … dead wasp

I work at a plant nursery and found this today, theories on the events leading up to this scene?
Did the wasp get stuck or did the plant hold him captive?
