Can this monstera be saved?

Post image

Hi, someone cut and dumped this beautiful mature monstera in front of my apartment building.

It would be very sad to let it die, if I bring it inside my apartment is there any hope of saving it?
Can anyone direct me on the best steps to take to attempt to save it?

So I have this small indoor tree my parents gifted me a few months ago. Not sure what the actual name is, sorry. What I've noticed is that I may have over-watered it and forgotten the fact that the basket that the pot is in, holds water as well. It took probably way too long to realize I had to empty it and change my watering habits so it doesn't pool in there and cause the roots to rot, but when I reduced watering and stopped leaving water inside the bucket, they were both still healthy. Now the smaller one has its leaves extremely droopy and looks like it's dying. I can't tell if too much water rotted its roots beyond saving or if changing my habits led to it drying too much without enough water. Plant experts, what's the verdict here? How can I save this little guy if it is even possible. And for people who've kept these, how often do you water?

Help My pothos keeps yellowing no matter what

Hello everybody, I come asking for a bit of help. My pothos, the first/ oldest houseplant I ever got, started yellowing recently and I don’t know exactly why. By now all the yellow leaves in the picture have fallen off and it is continuing along that main vine. The other branches are fine. I haven’t changed the spot or how much I am watering. Since I noticed the yellowing I have reduced how much I water because that was my first guess. Any help would be massively appreciated!

Help Orchid hasn't bloomed for 7 years, help

Hello, I have 32 orchids.

I've collected them over the last 7 years. My collection continuously blooms, there's very little time without flowers, however I have 1 plant that has never bloomed during the entire time I've owned it.

It sits in the same window where 22 others sit. I bought this orchid off of someone so I've never seen it flower or spike but it does continue to produce new healthy leaves and stems.

It has sat in the same pot in sphagnum moss since I bought and transplanted it.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for your time.

Watering habits: I soak regularly 1x week and mist the top of the moss when it feels too dry. All of my plants are treated this way and they all bloom. All pots have drainage.

Phalaenopsis orchids.

Success Was not expecting them to do so well in this small pot

Was kinda expecting them to die Ngl. I’m a succulent owner, I don’t know much about Ivy and research told me to not plant them too close. Got em July 2nd and now it’s October 27th 0-0

Some context: I was a plant vender for the season and they were getting ready to throw away a lot of plants (Walmart throws away SO many plants omg) so I took em home before leaving til next year but underestimated the price of pots and soil (as usual) so I just kinda hoped for the best but expected the worst lol

Trigger warning … dead wasp

I work at a plant nursery and found this today, theories on the events leading up to this scene?
Did the wasp get stuck or did the plant hold him captive?

Help Does anyone know what this thing is called?

When I bought it a couple years ago off of a plant lady she called it something specific and I don't remember the name. It's not just called a "greenhouse". But when I look it up on Google it tells me it's a birdcage? It's definitely a greenhouse for plants but I think this style has a name.. anyone here know?

Plant ID What are these little plants growing in my vegetable pot?

Found these purple-stemmed little plants in my vegetable pot (water spinach and jute), and we can’t figure out what it is. We got the vegetable pot from a friend and it’s my first time growing vegetables, so not sure if it’s one of the two plants, or a weed that I should remove.

First four pics are of the little plants, and the last pic is of the entire pot. Just harvested from the stalks so they’re sparse.

I've checked the stem and it's solid, no rot, and goo isn't coming from the plant. Some snails in the goo. We just had a week of rain.

Winter is coming and I’ve only had you but a brief moment 😢 (lol just wanted to vent this small frustration of saying goodbye to these incredible friends) - don’t use Reddit that often but since I’ve started my plant journey recently.. thought it’d be nice to have a community to post in and get advice. Hello y’all’s ✌🏾🌱

Success Peperomia leaves growing roots in water

Post image

I am pleasantly surprised by this!

I am propagating peperomia stems. I removed the lower leaves and placed them in water, intending to propagate them in soil. Time got the better of me and the leaves have been sitting in their little glass for about three weeks. To my surprise, three of the five leaves are sprouting roots!
