Hatred at its worst!
A sign in Kennedy Township. I removed it and took to the police station. Absolutely disgusting!

What kind of Tron-ass vehicle is this I keep seeing everywhere?
I see this guy all over the place. The car is very thin and has no rear view window or side mirrors - I’m assuming there are cameras instead of mirrors? Anyone know what kind of car it is?

Another Successful Ring Recovery!
Hey, folks. I made a post a few days ago promoting the North Pittsburgh Past Finders Metal Detecting Club, and reminiscing about the ring recovery I did earlier this year. Well, I was able to help recover another ring this evening!
A member of the community reached out to the club and I was able to find the ring and return it! Attached pic of successful exchange!
If anyone ever loses their ring, watch, keys, or any metallic item that can be picked up by a metal detector, please do not hesitate to reach out to the club!! We have a lost item form you can fill out that will send us an email, and we'll get a member to help you out!

I'd also like to plug my YouTube channel, Keystone Coal & Oil, where I typically run around metal detecting abandoned coal mines and such with my detecting partner, u/oldironmike.

My Daily Commute is a Hellscape for No Reason
I know everyone’s been talking about this for months, but frankly, I need to just vent for a sec: the street I live on is under construction, the intersection I live NEXT that gets onto the highway is under construction, the entire many-miles-long street I take the bus on to go to school is under construction, the parking garage in my school is under construction, the 61B just broke down on my way to get to work from school, and when I get asked to cover a shift down at a separate job in downtown, the street I work on is under construction.
I hate this so much. After a while it feels like the construction sites are actively trying to prove a point or something — like what, did you want me to think leaving the house is impossible? I don’t even drive! I walk as much as I can and I take one of the most-used bus routes in the city. If even I’m finding it impossible to get to school or work on time — *and waking up at 7 from construction noises* — then something should probably be done about this. We’re getting terrorized by construction

Pittsburgh road closures surge 31% in 2026 - Axios
axios.comFor those too lazy to read the article:
City spokesperson Molly Onufer said an influx of funding from the Biden administration infrastructure plan, Pittsburgh Water's work to replace all residential lead pipes, and gas companies replacing old lines have converged for a busy year.
"These are important and much-needed investments in our city's aging infrastructure," said Onufer. "Our teams have also been out meeting with residents and business owners to work with them to alleviate the inconvenience as much as possible."

Orthopedic doctor for hip replacement. BMI.>40
Hip replacement orthopedic doc BMI >40
I’m desperately seeking a doctor in the Pittsburgh area, preferably the North Hills. I have end stage arthritis on my left hip. I’ve lost 54 pounds but my BMI is still a little greater than 40. It’s hard to exercise when you can’t walk.! I’m currently using two canes and I cannot take it anymore! Last two orthopedic doctors I went to 20 months ago I got a lot of BS and no plan just sent me on my way. They really don’t care. They have a waiting room full of patients needing orthopedic surgery, So I have a fear of going back to a doctor obviously not those two. Anybody use tri-state orthopedic? They have a lot of doctors. I’m hoping maybe they can help me. Any input would be nice. Please be kind.! 🙏

AHN is failing me. OBGYN recommendations for Highmark members?
I think I am done with AHN. I have been seeing my doctor at Jefferson for years but things have just gotten so bad. I am still waiting for someone to call me about an ultrasound that was performed mid September. Appointment times are crazy and waiting 6 weeks for a doctor to call with results is just ridiculous. In the meantime, I have been in terrible pain.
Anyone out there love their doctors through St. Clair? What is the turnaround time for results and how is it scheduling appointments?
I know there is a radiologist shortage but my results were placed in my online portal in early October and “viewed by my care team.” I have reached out several times and there seems to be no urgency in helping me navigate this.
