I know that we have to go thro the list of licensed psu vendors but there’s genuinely so many options and over half of them don’t even look like they do custom merch they’re just selling penn state merch. for my fellow RSO leaders, what brand(s) do you get your merch from?? and how much does it usually cost on average?

I am coming from Behrend to UP next fall and me and 3 friends (4 total) are looking for off campus housing, we need recommendations and just any advice that will help us out. What do y’all think? We’re doing our own research but any help is appreciated.

I was very unfortunate to not get a spot in the time frame I had in my schedule for Emch 213 and I think I am close to the very back of the waitlist. the class has a 180 capacity and my professor said he knows theres not gonna be enough space for everyone. there is still one section left open but it requires me to redo my entire schedule. should i just stick and hope for a opening or redo everything.

So I apparently didn't have the Math Prerequisites needed for my intended major (Finance at Smeal) and was instead accepted as a Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) Student at PSU - Harrisburg. I was wondering about if anyone who potentially had undergone DUS or have more info on DUS could share their experiences and how the process went? I already did some reading and looked at websites but I thought an actual real persons experience with the program would be more valuable. Thanks!

I have two semesters left before graduating, but I'm currently working at a startup (not my own) that I see a lot of potential in, and I've just received a full-time offer.

I'm considering staying with the company and returning to Penn State in about 3–4 years to finish my degree.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Does Penn State allow students to return after that long of a break and still retain their previously earned credits? Would I be able to pick up where I left off?

I was looking at reviews for Nittany Place and Campus Heights and students seem to be having a bunch of problems with cleaning, maintenance, and randoms fees at Nittany Place. I would like to live in a single apartment and I wouldn’t care if the laundry unit wouldn’t be in the apartment. This would be my first year at Penn State Harrisburg but I would be coming in as a sophomore. I wouldn’t have a car and these seemed like the closest apartments to campus. Can you guys please help me out with which option would be the best or if there are better options out there? Thank you!

I would like to live in a single bedroom, single apartment at Penn State Harrisburg but I’m not sure where the best places are. I looked into Nittany Place and that seemed to have bad reviews, Campus Heights only offers rooms with roommates, and SchoolHouse Lofts is a bit too far from campus. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do or look into?

I am currently an integrative science major looking to either switch to a double major for integrative science & biobehavioral health or just switching straight up to neurobiology. I also plan to minor in business. What are the pros and cons of either option, and what exactly is the difference between neurobiology and BBH? thank you

Did they just block student access? Move it somewhere?

Whats a good place to work at near campus? I feel like most places don't pay well around the campus. On campus is even worse.

There's the main street that is admittedly pretty long but everything else seems residential. Like you get one street of businesses, a couple alleys and then its all just houses.

Hey what bug is going around? My classmate just got back from being super sick and he was in class this week.

This morning all of a sudden I got nauseous and just about puked at work, I also got super dizzy to the point I couldn’t stand, and I’m hot. I’m actually holding back tears. I don’t feel good AT ALL. I haven’t felt this type of sickness in years. What do I do????? I have Zofran at least.

I’m an out of state student who requested a voter card to vote in person this election. However, due to PSU’s mailing system, the state flagged by information as wrong and hit me with an address verification notice. This is probably due to the fact that the university’s stupid mailing system didn’t line up with the Pennsylvania voting website format. The form needs to be returned 15 days before the election, how I only received it today. If you have a calendar handy, this means I’ve been soft locked out of this election. Fuck PSU’s mailing system.

How is it even supposed to be formatted so that it satisfies the state and university???

Hi guys, I need some help again 😭 my mom wants to mail me some stuff for a Halloween costume, but the postal office said that the address they put doesn't exist. I live in south, and I know I gotta pick it up at Redifer, but what address should they put on the package?

I’m submitting the common core app for PSU tomorrow 10/25. I sent my SAT scores on 10/23 rush delivery so they should get to the colleges on 10/29. Will I still be able to get my penn state email and fill out my STARs report before Nov 1st to meet the deadline?

At least Penn State isn’t going to lose tomorrow.

Hi! I’m not a Penn State student, but I really enjoy the SoC 119lectures and follow the content on YouTube. As a second-generation Indian, the lectures have helped me get a better sense of myself and reckon with the world around me.
