Neco Williams deserves some credit for reaching 150 Premier League appearances
150 Premier League appearances is a pretty good milestone for Neco Williams, and it's nice to see him reach it in a Forest shirt. He's had to work hard to establish himself, and having that much top-flight experience is something amazing. He may not always get the attention that some of the bigger names do, but he's played his part.

Forest's young wonderkid Azae Bonnick (number 12) in the England U15 team as match is abandoned due to allegations of racism on the pitch.

I didn't realise he was in the England youth set up as well. He's getting rave reviews at the moment.
Which means we'll sell him onto some Scottish team in 3 years after giving him a new contract and a spot on the bench.

Realist Writing Reasons to be cheerful
We aren't manchester united
We aren't contemplating Sean Dyche to come in
Sorry, I could actually only think of two reasons as the current situation is really quite depressing.

Weird question
Hi all,
Been a lifelong Forest fan and used to go to as many away games in London (used to live in West London) was at the QPR game when we got relegated to League 1 etc and get to the CG at least 4-5 times a season in those dark days.
My nephew who is 10 and Austitic (he can tell you every bus you need or train in London to get about to the exact detail) has finally got the bug for Forest after his mum's side of the family tried their best to make him support Chelsea, Spurs after i kept sending vids to him of Forestđ.
I would get tickets on general sale, but since the Cooper season in the Championship its not possible, so my question is who at the club could i email to see if they could squeeze them in?
I live in Italy now so for me as much as i want to see a Forest game in the PL, its about getting 2 tickets for a home game for him and his dad, if i emailed the club you think they would be receptive to this?
I know if you dont ask you dont get.

Was this period actually real or was it just a dream I had.
Looking back on it, what the fuck.
Chris wood turned into R9 and scored 20+ goals
Elanga was playing like prime messi
Our defence physically couldnât be penetrated, and it is quite legitimately no different from what we have now
We actually knew how to score goals
We was challenging for the league at one point
It just seems strange, considering the team we had then isnât really much different to what we have now, yet now we look like we couldnât score in Thailand

â Gulag â After 8 games of the seasonâŠ
would you prefer to be in our position (third from top in the xG table but third from bottom in the real table with 6 points) or Newcastleâs (bottom of the xG table but 8th in the real table with 11 points)?

Fantasy Football If Necos goal against spurs stood, and Milenkovic didn't make his mistake last night we'd be 9th
These are just two examples sticking in my head where either poor refereeing or individual mistakes are costing us.
You could say other things like "we should score more from all these chances" against Ipswich and palace or "defend better" against arsenal and come to a similar conclusion, but these two stick out to me.
For me this puts things in perspective for just how UNLUCKY we've been, and that it makes sense to keep backing the players and the manager because bad luck streaks can't last forever.
â Gulag â Forest's Problem is NOT the manager. Its THE PLAYERS.
The body of general thought on here appears to be that OG is not to blame. He is doing his job. He is getting the team playing right and most games we have actually been good and created plentiful chances. (The xG kings!) So if its not OG's fault then whose fault can it be that we have started off getting the results of relegation candidates (6 points in 8 games)? THE PLAYERS. Perhaps our recruitment has not been as smart as some have thought.
My point would be simple: where are the goalscorers? Take our midfield. Schlager, McAtee, Sangare, Dominguez, Yates. Who is going to bag ten goals a season out of those? Who is going to bag even five? Our defenders/wingbacks do not score much either. That puts it all on the forwards. But the chance might not fall to them so what do you do then? Where is our goal threat from set pieces? My point is I think our recruiting team have not recruited players who can contribute to the goals IN GENERAL. That doesn't help OG get results and leaves the players creating chances they cannot convert all too often.

Glorious Shitpost The one time a season a ref doesn't follow what VAR says and it's against us of course
Glorious Shitpost At some point, we'll have to ask the question...
I honestly don't know what to think anymore.
"Nottingham Forest has accumulated 120 total shots in the Premier League this seasonâranking third-highest in the division behind Manchester United (138) and Brighton (125)âthough only 25 of those have been on target (a 4.17% conversion rate)"
How do you fix that? By praying?
(yes, I know about the refs, I agree...)

â Gulag â I have an oppininon!
So I noticed one thing on this forum, there is no way you can be both realistic and also a Forest fan. If you're not in the OG wank club you might just as well stay silent. All pessimists if that is still allowed in these days are hounded like unwanted vermin.
We all want the same thing, but we just have a different view on things. And the way it is going it sure as hell isn't looking good!

Statement FC WHERE IS THE STATEMENT???
How many times have we been on the wrong side of refereeing calls this season? Every single match it goes against us in seriously big calls.
If we donât get a tweet about this I will lose all respect for Mr Marinakis.

Are we allergic to the goal?
Like seriously, we're some sort of statistical chance conversion anomaly at this point.

First 8 Premier League matches - last 3 managers
Dyche (13pts), Pereira (9pts), Glasner (6pts). Any thoughts?
