Help What musical do yall think my school is doing?
I'm not into that much musical theater but I play in the pit orchestra so I was wondering what it could be. Edit:last year's musical was into the woods

What’s the worst production of a musical you have personally seen, been in, or heard of. Feel free to share your stories.

Hey! I’m making a YouTube video about when musicals are performed on tv shows but I need more episodes to add to my list - so far I have Glee, Modern Family, Riverdale, Don’t Say Good Luck, and HSMTMTS. The musicals have to be real, not written just for the series/movie, and they need to sing at least one song from the show. If you have any to add please let me know!

I always thought the opening lines to "Falsettoland" from Falsettos/Falsettoland were so funny and specific: "Homosexuals, women with children, short insomniacs, and a teeny tiny band..."
This sparks a fun, silly question: What are some other musicals that have at least one character for each of the traits mentioned in this song?
(+1 imaginary point for each descriptor matched)
- Homosexuals
- Women with children
- Short insomniacs
- A teeny tiny band
- Father with children
- Spiky lesbians
- Women internists
- Shiksa/Kosher caterer
- Ex-ex lovers
- Hypochondriacs
- Yiddish Americans
- Spiky families
- Radiologists
- Intellectuals
- Nervous wrecks

Hello!
I am searching for musicals (preferably One act) that uses a small amount of instruments.
Maybe maximum four instrumentalists but not rock band.
Thankful for tips!

Hi all! I just got cast as Jared in Dear Evan Hansen and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me! It’s my first time playing comedic relief so I’m a bit nervous

Heather Chandler is the greatest character in all of media (backed by science btw) She is the pinnacle of all human creation, the Mayan death calendar wasn't actually predicting our death would be in 2012, they were saying the Heather's musical would come out that year but they were off a couple years. The eleventh commandment was to bow to Heather Chandler probably. Heather Chandler is amazing. Her hair, in every iteration (except that frightfully uncouth remake in 2018.) her outfit probably took every single fashion designer ever to design because it's so gorgeous it makes me froth at the mouth every time I look at it. Her voice (specifically Jessica Keenan Wynn's) is that of an angel wrapped in honey & silk & pure whimsy. I love her so much OH MY GOD I LOVE HEATHER SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE HER Her songs are the best, Yo girl is amazing just for having her voice. I will now state amazing things that this pillar of the community did before being wrongfully slain. 1. She bullied Duke (God's work) 2. She made Sawyer beautiful (she was a greasy little nobody beforehand btw) 3. She complimented Veronica's bone structure because she's so sweet & kind. 4. She made the scrunchie, corn nuts, & croquet mallet iconic (they were greasy little nothings beforehand btw) 5. She wears red (Red is the best colour because she wore it, so technically she wore the best colour) 6. She sang a whimsical ballad about generously (& charitably) letting Veronica into a candy store (also it's the greatest song to ever exist) 7. Funny chainsaw quote 8. She's really cool I really love her please accept the fact she's awesome. 9. Everything went to shit after she died, notice how everything sucked & Heather McNamara got depressed afterwards which she absolutely wasn't before Heather Chandler died. I love Heather Chandler & I really hope other people realize she's God's gift to queer women even though she's probably homophobic
Fly high Heather Chandler 🕊️

Hey everyone! Due to financial constraints and scheduling I am fairly certain I can only do one dance class. The dance schools near me offer a musical theatre class, but they also offer classes specifically for jazz, tap dance, and ballet each. So, which would be better, since I am a beginner? My thought is the MT class might be more general, and it might be better to focus in on one of the other three first. But I am doing all this for MT in the first place. So what do you think?

I have never done that before! I saw the tour of “Buena Vista Social Club” in Orlando last night & I left during intermission. It was nothing against the actors or anything, it was all me. I just was not feeling it. I couldn’t get into the story & I kept dozing off. I had had a busy weekend, so it was starting to hit me! 🥱😂 I have season passes for that venue, but that was the one show I wasn’t really interested in seeing, but felt obligated to go for the season pass. 😂 I’m glad I didn’t pay “out-of-pocket”! 😱 But felt I wasted money on gas & parking… I hope the rest of the season is better! I already saw “Hamilton” & “Death Becomes Her” is next in December!
