I am trying to double crochet into the back of my slip stitch and I have to physically pick up the stitch with my fingernail and insert the hook to complete the stitch. My fingers are sore and I have 420 more stitches to start this way.

Hi! I am attempting my first big project and noticed that when I fold my blanket it doesn’t fold evenly. I attempted to contact the pattern designer on Esty for insight on the pattern but haven’t heard back. Is this amount of slanting normal for mosaic crochet? Will it even out as I go along? Will an envelope border help it at the end? I would hate to have to start over, but if I need to, I will. Sooooo much work. The first picture shows how the edges are slanted when folded. The second picture is laid flat. The slant is there, but not super noticeable. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wanted to gift it to my mom (retired librarian) for Christmas. Even if I had to start over, I think I can still make it, but need to get started now. It will say Books are my Therapy. 💕📚

Hi friends 👋🏻 I am working on The Lovers tarot mosaic crochet (double sided) by Nerd Princess Designs and I just finished up row 35. I am now noticing that I completely missed a whole little section that crates the center of the letter H.

This was back on row 26…. Does anyone know how I can fix this without frogging it?? This is HOURS of work and idk how I missed it on the front (it is there on the back).

This is my first ever mosaic crochet project and I am super proud of it. I’m so upset that I just noticed I missed this please me some good news that I won’t have to frog it 😢

Centre out to go on the other side of the moon that I previously made. I started with 12 tr/dc. A few mistakes along the way but happy with the result. I'm going to single crochet along the edges to join.

hi i’m relatively new to mosaic crochet. does anyone have any tips on keeping my mosaic from going sideways? i made a cool wall hanging and when i went to go border it i realized that it was kinda going at an angle upwards. is there any way to stop that from happening?

the circled area is where i’m stuck - do i need to change the pattern or am i over looking something?

I’ve figured out a way to make diagonals on mosaïc crochet so I’m trying out a few things.

To draw and follow the pattern row by row I used Pixlaine.com, it’s a free App that works for tapestry and mosaic.

Ok so Ive been working on changing this pattern thanks to some advice from y’all and I’ve added in a bird of prey and Enterprise D to my DS9 pattern. What do you all think?

Hi! I’m making a Halloween themed reversible mosaic crochet. I’m wondering if proportions are going to be off. It’s 250 rows tall and 200 wide.
This is 26 rows completed and it just seems so short. I’m wondering if the reversible is making it shorter? Notice how it’s pulling down in this pumpkin section where the single crochet are reversed.

Should I keep going? Should I start another and make it not reversible to see if the stitches are higher?

I’m feeling so overwhelmed with this blanket I’m trying to finish for my in laws as a Christmas present. I had no clue what I was getting into and I’m new to mosaic crocheting. Life is busy and this is a couple of weeks of work… ugh. I don’t know how I’ll finish this in time! I’ve been putting in a couple of hours of work into this a day.

I am so obsessed! I’m still working on the border so maybe “complete” is an overstatement, but I’m so proud of the actual mosaic part. I can’t wait to give it to my mom for her birthday :)

Hello, I am a beginner and this is my first big project. I am reading the pattern and I just have some questions. On row 9 column 98 and 99 there are no double stitches but there is on column 97 but they are all the same color. The same thing happens on row 19 column 100 and 101. I am wondering if this could be a typo or if this is normal and will look fine in the end.

This is my 2nd mosaic project and I did run out of the black I was using for the top 4 rows, but I'm super proud of this halloween kitty.
