I've been trying to find an Asian hairstylist in La Crosse or in a surrounding city for a bit. There's a lot of salon websites that have only White stulists or don't show their stylists.

I like Asian hairstylists because they know how to style my hair texture. Every time I've gone to a white hair stylist, I end up with a wonky haircut. Yes, our hair textures are different.

With the cost of everything so high lately to fill a fridge and a gas tank for normal people, I am still surprised to see that there are high end events popping up everywhere.

Just this week I’ve seen ads for 3.

Sweet Beets has a murder mystery dinner for $175 per person, the Chateau charges $250 per person for dining at the tower table with a minimum of 4 diners, and now the Charmant is offering a bourbon night for $275 per person.

I’m curious if these events are actually selling.

I'm looking for a "guy" to do some light body work on my plastic front bumper (2023 Hyundai). Probably will have to be replaced but it's just not worth it to me to pay $1000-1500 to make things as perfect as a licensed body shop such as Caliber is charging me. I just need it to be reasonably professional. I don't need it ordered unpainted so that they can "color match" the existing paint for example. The car is 3.5 years old so getting it ordered in stock color is good enough. That's one example.

Has anyone else witnessed the Asian woman who walks down State St with a closed umbrella and short black hair? I think it was last week she came up onto our porch (1200 block) and knocked on the door then just left. Specifically, she knocked a certain way - very very faintly, 3 knocks, waits a second, then three more knocks then nothing. At first I thought maybe she was looking for directions or something but ended up finding someone else to ask. BUT THEN she was back today and did the same exact thing but headed in the opposite direction. The knocks are so faint that I can’t really tell if someone’s actually at the door until the second set. But every time I’ve gotten to the door, she’s already gone. The only reason I know what she looks like is because today I saw her walking away out my window.
Has anyone else seen her or does anyone know what I’m talking about? Should I be worried?

Hello kind citizens of La Crosse. I'm planning to visit your fine city soon and will be arriving on Amtrak w my boxed bicycle. I would prefer to assemble it at my hotel and wondering if taxicabs hover around the Amtrak station when trains come in as there are only 2-3 trains per day.
