I just took the plunge and purchased a Kindle Fire 10 for $73. I’m pretty sure it’s a refurb but my intention for this device is reading books, magazines, light web browsing and consuming media such as Netflix or Prime Video. I was initially going to buy a new Amazon tablet but the fact that there is no way to expand storage was a no-go. At least with the Fire I can add an SD card. I’ve heard rumors that the Fire line is going to be discontinued and support may end but instill feel the Fire 10 will be useful for years to come as a specific use device. I do use Apple iPad for more robust needs. Just wondering if any owners of a 10 feel the same and what are you using it for ?

In the AI era, there is some new custom rom for this tablet?
The latest lineage is too old.

You can now temporarily root the new Alexa tablets!

For now, only the 11-inch variant is supported, but adding support for other devices should be possible (see the XDA thread and help me do it)!
