I made the grass in my isometric mushroom village actually sway - every tile loops seamlessly

Small cozy village I've been working on: mushroom houses, a stump bakery, a pumpkin cottage, fireflies at night.

What I wanted to fix this time was the ground. Before, every building sat on its own little square of grass and you could see the seams. Now:

- buildings stand directly on one continuous meadow - the slab under each house is cut away, only the shadow and a few grass tufts at the walls stay

- the floor is a corner (Wang) autotile set, 46 tiles: meadow, mud, water. The noise is periodic per cell, so any two tiles join without a seam

- grass grows in tufts of 3-6 blades and sways with a travelling gust (tileable Perlin noise), each tile starts at a random frame so it never pulses in sync

- wild flowers grow in patches, mostly poppies, plus daisies, cornflowers, bluebells

- water has blinking ripple dashes and shore foam that breathes in and out

- in Godot 4 it is a real TileMapLayer with a "Match Corners" terrain set, so you can paint it with the terrain brush

Happy to answer questions about how the lighting or the autotiles work.

Sunken ships, strange creatures, hidden treasures, and plenty of underwater dangers. I tried to bring the whole adventure together in one detailed illustrated map.
