(I've always wanted to voice this out and see if anyone can relate and I think this is personality-related so I post this here)

Despite claiming to prefer masculine style and dark colors, I still find myself enjoying dressing femininely even in pastel colors. The thing is I have a persona oc but I could never draw her wearing overly girly outfits and pastel colors even though she's supposed to be my self-insert character. I thought maybe because my Muslim identity influences the way I dress irl as a girl, but I can definitely dress a little masculinely without cross-dressing yet I don't. I still invest in cute clothes instead of cool-looking clothes cuz it's just easier to find cute clothes for me especially when my favorite thing to wear is knitwear cardigans there are so many cute knitwear cardigans to get I just can't resist 😭. I don't put effort in finding nice masculine clothes that go well with hijab at all. Maybe it's my childlike look that others describe as cute is what influences the way I dress irl? I don't understand myself 🤷🏽‍♀️
