Hi everyone! My partner and I just launched our indie block puzzle game, Gummy Lab 🐻🧪

We built this because we were tired of mobile games filled with predatory monetization. Our promise: absolutely ZERO forced or interruptive ads!

What makes it special:

🧩 50+ Handcrafted Levels: No AI filler!

🎨 Deep Accessibility: Dedicated colorblind palettes (Deuteranopia, Protanopia, Tritanopia) and embossed shapes for maximum readability.

🌙 Native UI: Full Light & Dark modes built right in.

We are just a handful of downloads and reviews away from getting our first official Play Store rating! We would be incredibly grateful if you could try it out and leave honest feedback. 👇

🔗 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binbear.gummylab

Attached a sneak peek at the limited edition Halloween theme that's coming soon!

Help Needed letting people pick their blackjack move before their turn without it doing something stupid

• Upvotes

i've been making a little party games site for me and my mates, everyone plays on their own phone. in blackjack you spend a lot of the round just waiting for everyone else to finish their hand.

so i added picking your move early. while someone else is playing you can tap hit, stand, double or split and it lights up with a tick, then it plays the second your turn starts. tap it again to cancel.

the fiddly bit was what happens when things change before your turn comes round. what i ended up with:

- it only counts for your first hand, it doesn't carry over if you split

- if the move isn't allowed any more when your turn comes (split without a pair, double on more than two cards) it just gets dropped, no error

- it clears at the end of the round so it can't leak into the next one

- you can only pick while it's someone else's turn, never during your own, so a double tap can't queue a second hit

poker got the same thing with check/fold and call any, and a call for a set amount clears itself if someone raises.

has anyone else done this kind of thing? i'm not sure if dropping an illegal pick without saying anything is right or if people would rather see a little message

Seeking Team # Looking for a Zero-Budget Team to Collaborate on My Open-World India-Based Game (Unity)

Hello everyone!

I’m an indie game developer working on an **India-based open-world game in Unity**, and I’m looking for a few passionate people who would like to collaborate with me temporarily on this project.

🎮 About My Game

My vision is to create an open-world game set in India, featuring an explorable environment, Indian locations, highways, NPCs, missions, character customization, and a story-driven crime/action experience.

The game’s story follows a dedicated officer from a fictional agency called CIB who gets caught up in the criminal underworld. The game will feature an evolving storyline, different characters, criminal organizations, and action-based missions.

🛠️ Current Development Progress

I have already started building the game in Unity. Here is what I have worked on so far:

* Created an India-inspired game map surrounded by water and mountains. * Built multiple highways and roads across the map. * Added terrain textures for different regions, including desert-like areas. * Implemented player movement, jumping, sprinting, and mouse-controlled camera movement using Unity Starter Assets. * Replaced the default Starter Assets character with my own selected character model. * Implemented full-body inverse kinematics (IK) to improve how the character's feet interact with uneven surfaces. * Planned a modular character customization system with separate outfits, hairstyles, and cloth physics. * Planned NPC AI, including walking, sitting, patrolling, and reacting to the player's actions.

The project is still in development, and there is plenty of work left to do.

👥 Who Am I Looking For?

I’m looking for people interested in collaborating on one or more of these areas:

* Unity C# programming and gameplay systems * NPC AI, navigation, and behaviour systems * 3D modelling, character creation, and animation * Environment design and Indian-style buildings * Character clothing, rigging, and cloth physics * Mission systems, cutscenes, and storytelling * UI/UX, optimization, and general game development

Beginners are welcome if they are genuinely interested in learning, contributing, and working as a team.

⏳ Collaboration Period and Budget

**Budget: ₹0 — this is an unpaid, voluntary collaboration.**

I have my half-yearly examinations starting on **18 November 2026**, so I’m looking for people who would like to collaborate with me during the period before my exams.

Once my examinations begin, I’ll pause my team collaboration and focus on my studies. After my exams, I plan to continue developing the game independently.

This is a short-term collaboration, not a paid job or a promise of future payment. Please join only if this arrangement genuinely works for you.

🤝 What I Hope to Build

I want to connect with like-minded people who enjoy game development and want to contribute to an ambitious project. We can divide tasks according to our skills, share progress, help each other learn, and build useful experience together.

I cannot promise that the game will become commercially successful, but I can promise to be honest about the project's current state, available resources, and expectations.

If you are interested, please comment below or send me a DM with:

* Your skills and experience * Which part of the game you would like to work on * Your availability before 18 November * Any previous projects or portfolio links, if available

**Even if you are a beginner, feel free to reach out!** I’d love to meet people who share the same enthusiasm for game development.

Thank you for reading! 🎮

I am in 9th class so anyone can help me with this idea I have not any budget to pay anyone
