Rant I never go to school even though I love learning
I'm year 11 in a public American hs. I have good grades, 3.8 GPA, take all honors/AP's, but ong I never go nor do I want to. I genuinely can't remember the last time I went to a whole week of school. I have friends there and have good teachers for the most part, I love learning, I love the material, but the act of leaving my house and entering school? No go for me. Obviously I know why school is important, but at the same time I understand all the material, I'm not learning anything in school that I wouldn't outside of it. I've taken every single class that is required for college, I just don't have all my other credits. I genuinely cannot find a single reason to ever go to school. This has been ongoing since 7th grade so my parents have honestly just given up. Plus, who the fuck wants to wake up at 6am to be at school by 7:40? I could be sleeping. Everytime I think about talking about this to somebody I chicken out because I don't want them to think I'm lazy. Idk if this makes sense but I think it would be different if I was actually challenged? Every class I take feels too easy, and so it feels like a waste of time to go to school and not learn anything.
All this to say, I never go to school lol. Honestly, I'm just posting this to know if anybody else feels like this because it feels isolating in a way. Also, does anybody else feels like no matter what they do nothing is challenging? Everything just feels easy tbh. Put me in the coal mines atp
