I made a post yesterday asking if I should go black or blonde (ended up deleting it) & I went black last night ( previous color posted for reference) & am regretting it so badly as I did it when I was on an emotional high I’ve always wanted to be completely blonde so idk why I did this. Now idk what it will take to get me blonde. I know all the comments said not to do it but I used a Demi-permanent hair dye by Madison reed so I guess it should be easier to get out. I feel this look is very heavy & washing me out & I honestly hate it. How can I get this out? ASAP.

Went from black to blonde and had 11 lots of highlights and had to chop off soooo much + a lot of it is falling out/dead 🥲🥲 i don’t like brunette or my natural light brown at all tho tbh

Okay so disclaimer my makeup is kind of different in all three! There’s quite a bit of time taken between the 3 photos. The light brown is most recent but it feels boring. Should I go back to dark purple or black? Also I am considering trying a dark auburn copper ish colour. Opinions?

i’ve been dyeing my hair for years, but i can never seem to nail my dream color (pictured). would anyone know what dye or dye combo is able to achieve this, or at least get similar results? i know it won’t be the same as salon vibrancy, but a gal is not about to drop a hundred bucks at a salon if i can make the perfect potion at home lol. i want that pop of orange and red, but not enough that its neon, ya know?

edit: like i said, i’ve been dyeing my hair for years at home. i should preface that i’ve tried wella, ion, a million different semi-permanents like manic panic, iroiro, arctic fox, good dye young, some indie brands, and so on. i’m really just looking for dye combos :) i’ve been dyeing my hair since i was 14 (i’m 26 now), so i’m no stranger to brands or how to color my hair! i’m sure there’s a bunch of new indie brands that i haven’t explored, though. there might be a combo i’ve just missed and someone has it all figured out :)) i also know it depends on my hair level/color i have now. it’s just a washed out auburn/brown that was previously lightened/processed lol

hey everyone, i have been box dying my hair black for 6-7 years now. my hair is still black, but fades quite quick and after a few washes u can see red/ purple tint. i use blue black permanent dye. i see people say to use demi/semi permanent instead of using permanent every time, but the last time i tried it it made my hair all waxy and had to wash it ten times to make it feel normal again. do they all make ur hair feel weird or was it just the one i used? and wont it end up looking weird using semi permanent because my roots are blonde? i hope this makes sense 😭

hiii, hoping this is not an impossible task that I am going to attempt!! last summer I dyed my hair red twice with loreal hicolor hilights red, and after it faded, my hair was left almost blonde (im a natural ginger) but I ended up doing a red and black split dye with arctic fox Transylvania and Poison. I really want to use the blonde loreal hilights over my hair as I think it would make my hair a nice colored blonde since the red one lightened my hair so much on its own. any suggestions on how to best remove the arctic fox dye so I can attempt this? I dyed it about 2 months ago, and its faded quite a bit, the black side is more a dark brown with some light brown almost blonde spots but the red is still holding on minus some parts that are very light pink. I've read a few threads with suggestions, but none that have two different colors like me. multiple products needed maybe?? really trying to avoid bleach if possible. thank you if anyone can help me! <3

This is my natural hair color, and im wondering if its possible to get my hair from this to a cool toned dark blue without any lightening (ive never dyed my hair before, im really scared to use bleach 😖). Recently went from light brown to bleached blonde (Quarter life crisis?) I actually had this hair colour naturally when I was much younger. So far I’m liking it, but curious if you guys think any other colour would work nicely?

I wanna dye my hair full black again since i feel ugly with my overgrown roots. Tho i want to make it darker than my natural (black brownish) hair. I heard adding blue dye then black makes it darker but idk if thats true.

I also used liese hair box dye in milktea brown for my brown hair.

A half and a year ago I bleached my hair with a product that had camomile and hydrogen peroxide on it (yeah, dumb me) my hair went orange, so I dyed my hair on top of it but it went back to orange everytime, the last one I tried was 5.1, it went literally black I had to wash it a lot of times, it was a nice brunette color but on some lights it was too dark. Now months later I have this situation in my hair, my objective is the reference photo (I don't want it warm toned tho), can I achieve this dying it at home? In the sun my hair has a lot of orange

i really like how this dye looks right after, but it fades sooo fast at least for me :( i used to use the arctic fox purple af, but i feel like this deadly nightshade is like warmer? any specific product recommendations that don’t fade super fast? i’m okay with having to mix multiple colors, i just really like this specific shade but hate having to constantly buy more dye! :) thank you

I have naturally black hair and I need a color refresh (cover some greys), is it possible to color my hair dark brown over natural black? I expect it’ll pretty much look black but I want more of a brown to it. Or do I have to get balayage? I’ve had balayage in the past to get my hair brown and it’s just too much maintenance but I prefer brown hair on me, without redness.

I'm currently growing my hair out from black box dye because unfortunately when I started, I didn't know what I was doing and ended up causing a lot of breakage and shedding. I prefer the dark color but I want to avoid using harsh chemicals for now. I was thinking I could use semi-permanent dye while I grow it out, but I want to avoid staining or discoloration. My natural hair appears to be a level 7-8 indoors and 9-10 in sunlight, and very fine. I was using Arctic Fox transylvania for a bit but it wouldn't stay in my hair at all and came out green everytime. I got a new dye (iroiro black) but I have never tried it before and just wanted opinions before I put it on my roots. Thanks :)

Basically the title, but looking for recommendations for semi-permanent dark purple, blue, or possibly red hair dyes that show up semi-decently on unbleached hair. Hi everyone,
I dyed (and bleached) my hair at home (im sure you can tell ngl). I used Manic panic shocking fushia for the first three weeks and then Manic panic purple haze. Both keep fading into the ugly orangy color in the 2 and 3 image. To be fair, i do shower with hot water but its too cold for even lukewarm water here. Which purple dye will stain my hair and won’t leave for at least 3 weeks :( When i touch it up, it looks like the first image!
I am in australia so a lot of products aren’t available here too. I’m aiming for the brightest purple possible with the current hair so shades recommendations would be appreciated too!

So, I want to make my hair sorta red for Halloween but I don't want to dye it. I was thinking I could just put some eyeshadow in it but my hair is currently dyed green and I'm wondering, will it stain my hair or turn it brown or something?? (The picture is my hair rn. So I want to be coraline for Halloween and want to get a darkish blue like hers but I don’t know if that’s possible for my natural hair at the top. I don’t want to bleach it but if I used iro iro deep blue would it do anything?
