I’ve wanted to get baby bangs for as long as I can remember, easily 5+ years, but I’ve always been so scared of changing my hair because everyone always tells me it’s lovely as it is 😭

I feel like it would suit my style a lot but idk about my face? What do you guys think?

Help Help me find my dream pixie cut!✂️

Hi everyone! 💕

I’ve been thinking about going for a much shorter, edgier pixie cut, but I’m struggling to figure out what would actually suit my face shape and hair type.

I already have an undercut on the left side, which I’d love to keep and incorporate into the new hairstyle.

My hair is naturally fine and tends to lie pretty flat, so I’m looking for something that would work with my actual hair texture rather than requiring tons of volume.
I’m drawn to short, textured, slightly messy pixies with a feminine fringe — something chic, a little edgy, but still soft and flattering.

What kind of pixie would you give me⁉️
I’d absolutely love specific haircut suggestions, celebrity references, or Pinterest inspiration pics!
Be honest — I’m open to ideas!

Help I always thought I had straight hair because everyone in my family does. How to care for my wavy hair?

They all have actual pin straight hair and that’s how I always thought mine was. I also always had frizzy hair when I’d brush it and leave it down or put it in a pony after brushing. At my ripe 26 years old I’ve learned my hair is actually wavy and i dont know if I care for it properly. My hair is colored so I use color sensitive shampoo and conditioner, and I’ve generally always let my hair just air dry, rarely style it or hardly EVER blow dry it. It’s always a natural dry. I’m posting what my hair looks like when naturally dried with no brushing, but i don’t have pics right now of brushing after dried or when wet. I’m just curious because I feel like my hair looks so weird when I just let it air dry and don’t brush it. But again brushing it frizzes the heck out of it?? I try to detangle with my fingers but it still looks messy. I’m just looking for anyone’s opinions, harsh or not!!! (Disclaimer my mirror is dirty.)

Question Thin fine dry short hair - blow dry brush brand suggestion

• Upvotes

Hi, I have short thin fine hair and it’s dry too. But I love the look of blowdried bouncy hair. Yay me. Can someone suggest me a brand AND which tool or brush from the brand?
Before i pull the trigger & buy a Dyson…. Even then I need suggestions on which one to get. I would even appreciate a cheaper brand option like Lady Jayne brushes.
Help please!!!🙏 i am in Australia - if that gives context.

Question Help with barretes

• Upvotes

Hello. i have shoulder length thin 2c waves (on the looser side) but quite the amount of hair. I like to wear my hair in a half up half Down. i normally use Claw clip, but after breaking so many of them I decided to switch to a french barrete. I love how it sits so Flat to my scalp but I cant help feeling like it is too loose and not nearly as secure and easily adjustable as a Claw clip.

do you have the same problems with this type of clip? How did you solve them? Is it just my barrete that is bad quality or that I dont know how to place it? A hair tie is not an option because half up half Down with it gives me the ick.

thanks

Question Question about bleaching hair

Hey, so i have a question about bleaching hair, and i'd love to hear some honest advice.

My natural hair color is somewhere between medium to light brown, and i've always wanted to go platinum blonde or like silver. However, i'm worried about the longterm effects of bleaching, especially since i'd ideally love to maintain this color for years rather than just try it once. (if i like the color on me)

I know that bleaching inevitably causes some damage, but if i take really good care of my hair, use all the recommended products, is it possible to keep my hair relatively healthy in the long run? Or will it eventually start looking and feeling fried, no matter how carefully i maintain it?

I really don’t want my hair to end up looking damaged, or straw-like just because i want to maintain a lighter color.

I’m willing to invest in good haircare products and regular salon appointments, and i don’t mind putting in the effort to maintain the color. I just want to understand the realistic longterm consequences before committing to something that might permanently compromise the condition of my hair.

I’d really appreciate honest experiences and advice, especially from people who have maintained platinum or silver hair!

My hair right now is not dyed and 100% virgin.

Thank u ♡

Question Layers on curls?

Curly haired people!
I want my hair to have a more voluminous look. The first picture is what my hair currently looks like. The second and third pic is what I want my hair to sort of look like. However, I like to straighten my hair from time to time and I fear if I get layers, they'll look bad with straight hair. Will there be a problem if I get layers even though I straighten my hair from time to time?

Question Hair color recommendations for olive skin?

I have neutral olive skin and my natural hair color is very dark brown. I have tried many different hairs and now my hair is navy blue. I am thinking of dyeing it red or blue black, but I am open to different suggestions. I hate it when my skin looks green. What hair color can I avoid the most?

Question Feasibility check for hair dye idea

Post image

I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for awhile now and I'd just like to know if it seems possible before I saddle my poor stylist with it.

I've been bleaching and toning the underside of my hair for years, and done a few all over bleach/dye jobs, so I'm not worried about damage

apologies for my handwriting 🙏🙏 willing to clarify anything if needed.

I dont use heat almost at all. Maybe a few times a year but I use great products and heat protection. I do sleep in a satin cap. I dont wear ponytail nor do I braid my hair. I try to brush it as less as possible and If I do I make sure I start from the bottom working my way all the way to the top. I do use hair oil daily. Hair mask weekly.

The breakage starts at the lenght of my ears and it doesn't seem to grow down! If it grows down ill cut it off but now I just cant.

Help 19M Not Sure What To Do With My Hair

I'm really trying to improve my appearance and really want to work on my hair. I've only recently really started caring for it, conditioning and gloss and whatnot, and I feel its gotten noticeably better, but I still don't know what to really do with it. It's curly and very volumous and dense, and can get very frizzy when dry. I feel its hard to shape and control and that's put me off ever trying to do anything with it. I'm also not suffering from any recession or hair loss currently. Have you guys any suggestions for haircuts or routines or anything? I like having length on it, but I just don't know what to do. For context the first image is after i recently started really caring for it. Any Advice at all appreciated! Open to basically anything.

I have a haircut appt later this week and would super appreciate any recommendations for how to get it cut. I have a round face and my hair is fine and has some density loss on the top. I had it shoulder length for a long time but cut it short a few years ago.

My general go to now is kind of a more professional fauxhawk?? I need it away from my ears for sensory issues, but want to still have some curl :( what can I do that will actually look good with what I have?

Question Full bangs or Micro bangs? Which is better?

Thumbnail

I’ve been thinking on which suits me better with my hair style. I like it longer since it doesn’t require much of styling and hair spraying since it just sits on my forehead. But its a bit itchy and it always gets in my eyes that I had to keep on cutting it every week.

Micro bangs is a bit harder to style since its shorter and require a bit more time to style but its cute on me tho. Im very new to this style and i kinda like it more now.

Other people says longer bangs suit me better since it more of a cute style for my small face and that micro bangs makes me look more of a cool girl vibes. But i also want a change of style cuz Im already 24 bruh.

The tricky part is other people especially the older once thinks that mirco bangs is not stylish and a weird/awkward cut. I personally don’t mind what people think since i prefer more on whatever make me comfortable. It’s just that there are noisy people that has always something to say and doesn’t keep their mouth shut. Bruh it’s irritating like why do they care so much
