After nearly 7 years of wanting a full upgrade to a very outdated pc running a 560Ti from around 2010, I finally saved up and built my dream pc. Becoming a dad hasn’t left me much time to game, but I’m excited to have a setup I can enjoy whenever I get the chance.
It might not be the wildest setup here, but it’s mine, and I’m proud of it!
PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
Gigabyte B850M-C motherboard
32GB DDR5-6400 RAM (2×16GB)
2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

Stacking these on top of each other?

Hi guys, i’m building my first pc and I guess I made a mistake with getting a micro atx motherboard with a midi tower case
any suggestions what should I get to fill out the empty space on the bottom and the right side of the case for it to look good? (my gpu is coming tomorrow so don’t mind the empty gpu slot)
or if I should just return the motherboard and get a full sized one, but idk if it will look good if i’m gonna have a standard cpu fan then
and ive already checked, I can’t put extra fans to the right side btw

I like being clean,i like having a clean room and most of all, i like having a clean pc
Now,this is my first and only pc, had it for barely a year and i'm very protective of it(working a whole summer for one thing kinda does that)
I always wipe any dust from the case, but for some reason,no matter how much i air out or wipe the dust in my room it always ends up looking like the pics below
Is this normal or do i need to clean it more often(clean the insides once a month and the case everyday)

Datacenters are bulk-buying graphics cards and RAM faster than consumers can access them, leaving us with crazy prices and empty shelves. This isn't just about gaming—it's about whether people like us can actually afford to pursue a hobby that matters to us.
I started a petition asking manufacturers and distributors to set aside stock for regular consumers and for policymakers to consider regulations on massive bulk purchases. The data center industry is growing at 10%+ annually, and right now they're winning the supply war while gamers get priced out entirely.
Anyone else frustrated watching GPU prices stay inflated while your friends give up on building their rigs? If you think there should be a fairer balance between corporate needs and consumer access, consider signing and sharing—it matters.

Build back in June 2021, so not the latest and greatest. But still doing a great job.

I’ve been thinking about it for some time. I‘m mixed between going through with it and hesitation because I feel like it’ll make it look cooler, but I also feel like it’ll make it look too cluttered. What do you guys think?

Hi, all.
So I got incredibly lucky. I had a $900 2022 Lenovo laptop (RTX 3050m 4gb) that I bought off Amazon. I luckily got Amazon to extend the warranty as part of a negotiation on a separate faulty purchase they sent me. Lenovo let me send in the laptop 22 days after the warranty expired and still honored it. After they realized it would take a long time to get the parts for the older laptop, they offered to swap it with a new Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition Gen 2 with the 5050. Because it was taking a bit longer than expected, I got them to send me the 5060 Ultra 9 386H CPU instead. It utilizes the full 100W TDP, and I could not be happier with this machine. Other than a pretty poor battery, it runs demanding games incredibly well. Here is Black Myth: Wukong at 3.2k with very high graphic settings. I get Cyberpunk at 3.2k and 2.5k with high settings at 90 and 115 fps, respectively. I also just tried Forza 6, and it locked at 120hz with very high settings and 2.5k. The 3.2k tandem OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous. I did not think this thing would perform even close to this well--especially being so much more efficient than the current Legion Go + OneXGPU (RX 7600M XT 8GB, 130 watt). The laptop is miles and miles ahead.sometumes you get lucky, I guess.

Ok so I ran out of space for drives. Is this going to be an actual issue long term or is it just horrible to look at.

Hey everyone!
I built a small app to solve a problem I've had for a long time: playing with inverted mouse controls.
The app lets you invert the X axis, Y axis, or both, and it works not only in games but also across Windows itself.
One thing that surprised me is that Windows still doesn't offer a simple, built-in way to invert mouse axes system-wide. I wanted something straightforward that would let me use my preferred mouse controls without having to rely on individual game settings.
So I decided to build my own solution!
If you're someone who prefers inverted mouse controls, you might find it useful. I'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or ideas for improvements.
Thanks for checking it out!

Everyone says I should upgrade to an RX 9070, but I'm happy with my RTX 5070 and I'm still satisfied with the 16 GB of RAM.

Got tired of the default RTSS/Afterburner text overlay, so I designed a cleaner set.
- 8 designs: from a minimal FPS + temps pill to a full benchmark-style panel
- 4 themes: Dark, White, Clear and Float (no background at all)
- Live FPS, 1% / 0.1% lows, frametime graph, CPU/GPU temps, load, power and clocks
- Ready-made packs for 1080p up to 5K2K and ultrawide
- Basically zero performance impact, same as any RTSS overlay
Free and open source, with a step-by-step setup guide with pictures:

Finished this build for a client using the Montech King 15 Pro and NX600 CPU cooler. Really happy with how this one turned out.
The King 15 Pro gives the build a clean showcase look, and there's plenty of room to work with when putting everything together. The NX600 is a nice addition too, providing air cooling for the CPU to help keep temperatures under control during gaming without needing a liquid cooler.
Everything came together nicely, and the finished build looks great. The client was happy with the result, which is always the goal.
Definitely a combination I'd consider using again for another gaming PC build.
Rest of the specs:
Intel i7-10700K
EVGA 2080 SUPER FTW3 (what a beauty)
Corsair RM850e Power Supply
1TB NVME
They wanted something simple that can handle 1080p Medium-High settings and this 2080 8GB SUPER is still very much capable. They also wanted RGB aesthetics so this Montech case was a perfect fit.
