A quiet evening in my psychological horror game, Locked In: The Ward (UE5)

I'm a solo developer from Ukraine, working on my psychological horror game, Locked In: The Ward, in my spare time. 🇺🇦

I've been experimenting with lighting, fog, and environmental details to create a peaceful-looking place that still feels slightly unsettling.

I'm heavily inspired by the atmosphere of Silent Hill 2, where even ordinary locations can make you feel uncomfortable.

This is an in-game screenshot from Unreal Engine 5.

What do you think of the lighting and overall atmosphere? 🌲

A game about mowing. Mostly.

As a dad of 3, every week I do the same thing before I mow. I walk the yard and pick up whatever the kids left out. A pacifier one summer, then a dump truck, then a soccer ball, then a bike. One day it hit me that I could basically tell how old my kids were just by what I was picking up off the lawn.

You mow the same backyard one summer at a time and between summers your kid gets older. Finishing patches of the yard brings back toys and memories from that year and you watch the backyard change as they grow up.

Game is called 18 Summers. Steam page is live.

A gang of animals trying to pay off a mafia toad. First screenshots from RATATA, a new physics co-op.

RATATA is a physics co-op about an animal gang working off a debt to a mafia toad.

Up to four players form an animal gang and take on heists, deliveries and questionable odd jobs in an ’80s criminal world.

Pick the crew members with different abilities, break in, grab the goods and load the truck. Then try to get everything delivered without wrecking the cargo, the vehicle or each other. Sometimes the furniture comes with an angry granny attached.

Most of the pay goes to the Boss. What’s left buys new crew members, better trucks and upgrades to your hideout.

Coming to PC, with online co-op and solo play (if nobody picks up the phone).

I'm making a game where you catch stars from the sky using a black hole on a fishing rod

Hey there! I'm working on a cozy low stress game where you catch stars from the sky using a black hole on a fishing rod.
I really wanted to explore my passion for astronomy in a space-related game, while also keeping the gameplay simple and relaxing (unlike most games about space I played before :D)

stars that you catch have real-life properties like mass, radius, temperature and so on which affect on stars' visuals individually. Apart from randomly generated stars, there are real ones like Sirius, Betelgeuse, the Alpha Centauri system and many more! (they also somewhat look like their real-life counterparts)

A look at Fillup's chain reactions and the new Weekly Tower scenes

I make Fillup, a tabletop-inspired browser strategy game based on Chain Reaction. You fill cells with pieces and set off reactions that capture neighboring cells.

This video starts with a recorded Campaign finish, then takes a look up the Tower scenes. There's an alchemy-themed tower, a lighthouse, an overgrown tower, and a haunted one. The future themes are labeled as previews.

They're part of the new Weekly Tower mode: a solo climb with checkpoints, cosmetic rewards, and harder ascents after the base ten floors. The game also has Campaign and local/online multiplayer.

It's free in desktop and phone browsers. You can try the main game as a guest; Weekly Tower requires a free registered account.

Been working on my game "Planet Shaper" for a long time now. With some breaks here and there when I get stuck on a hard game design problem or coding problem.

It truly started as a single file of Javascript running on the web. Now its a fully native game. Several times the world size, with real time lighting, a fully particle and volume based water simulation to play with, and a city simulation that is simple like back to Sim City 3000 era city builders.

There is a playable build available right now on my Discord server for anyone that wants to try :)

Some tarot-inspired monster cards I’m currently drawing for my word roguelite :)

Hey! I’ve been working a lot on the pixel art for my game LETTERBANE lately.

It’s a word roguelite, and the enemies appear as tarot-style cards but it’s not a card game!

This is a small selection of them. I just wanted to share them and hear what you think of these little fellows. Any favourites?

Besides, it’s always nice to share a bit of progress along the way. :)

Hey! I’ve been working on a small top-down pixel brawler prototype called Night Work.

You can punch, kick, grab weapons, throw objects at enemies, smash parts of the environment, and fight your way through the city.

There’s a playable demo here:

Would love to know what you think.
