Looking for a proxy server that allows streaming of French TV to the US. I've tried several free ones, but none of them seem to work.

This is for an Expat friend; her husband wants to get her access to her home country's entertainment for christmas. I tried a few free proxies, but could not view shows from this site at all, and am hoping y'all can help me out. Thanks!

you don't need a proxy to watch program on Pluzz just an extention to modify headers and make it look like you have a French ip

X-Forwarded-For 62.4.31.52 something like that should do the trick

source I live in UK

Cool, I'll give that a try, though I believe I attempted that already with no success.

This is what I do. Both firefox and chrome have easy extensions for this, and then you just google "french proxies" and type in the information.

Sorry that this isn't very specific. I'm not great with technology, but it's pretty self evident once you get started what info goes where.

Free ones will have lags and disconnection, especially if you try to watch programs that have a lot of viewers

On the other hand, there are 2 things your friend can try, depending on the tech level of your friend, that don't require a proxy

if not tech savvy, go to youweb.tv and watch tv it's as simple as that. a friend of mine whose parents come every year and spend several months here in texas use it and they seem to like it. however I noticed it can lag and/or freeze. Personally I use the next solution

if tech savvy, install xbmc on a computer and download the XBMC Tele FR video add-on plus all the other video add-on for french channels. Moer often than not, it works great and it has lots of channels but it's not as accessible as youweb

if you really want to use a proxy, your best bet is to spend money on it to have the best connection possible.

There is also futubox that can be a solution if it's available in your country

All the free ones I tried did not work. The video simply would not play. He's willing to pay for a proxy that works.

Depending on the website you're targeting, you may need a good quality proxy server which won't come for free (if this is what you're looking for).

Yes, I am looking for a paid proxy which is guaranteed to allow viewing of the link in my post. I don't want to pay for one and find out it doesn't work however, so I'm asking the experts here.
