Coaching Advice Attacking a 4-4 defense?

7th and 8th grade football coach here. We play a team this week that runs a 4-4 defense. What are some of the best concepts to beat this?

For context, we are a relatively small team on the line and have 3 above average speed skill players. We try to get to the outside when possible to let our athletes run in space. Primary formations are single wing with 3 WR’s, tight trips bunch and a traditional spread

Player Development WRs slow to start after snap

• Upvotes

Hello everyone, new WRs coach here, I'm having some troubles with my players starting very slow on the snap, meaning that the QB has the ball in his hands and they sometimes still have to take their first step.

Do you know any drill I could try to better it? I need to tell you that I coach in Italy, so sadly I have very little time to work in individuals so anything that could be integrated in any other drill/situation (like ROA, skelly) would be amazing

Thank you everyone

Love seeing teams go 12 (or 21, whatever heavier packages they have), and then force a zone defense to slide to the unlikely receivers while freeing up their guys, in this case, Cooper Kupp and JSN
