I open the app and see 10 posts from strangers for every 1 from someone I actually know. The online friends bar on the right is gone. Even Stories are from strangers now.

It's not what it used to be.

Over the last month or so, I've noticed that those I usually interact with, friends, family, groups, and pages, have mostly disappeared, and instead I am seeing people I've never heard of, have no friends or likes, in common, and a good portion of them, their pages or in spanish, German, French, Italian, and even Dutch/Swedish.

Anyone else notice this? Why am I seeing complete strangers and foreign languages (Inread/write/speak and understand only English) and have to search out those I interact with to see what they have posted lately?

I totally understand the "expand your circle of friends" thing, but why close what I have and try to make me form a whole new circle with people I can't even communicate with?

I got suspended for a joke and FB/Meta thinks I’m a drug dealer! Their algorithm is insane! I’ve seen this same joke everywhere else and nobody gets suspended! This is ridiculous!

Hello. I am basically out of luck here trying to figure this out. My Facebook posts on my business page (news) and all legit stuff no fake news or anything lol, has gone basically to almost 99% less reach in last 9 days.

Posts basically showing to all my followers, getting a GREAT engagement rate. Then it dies. Doesn't show to non-followers. I have no violations on my page status and I am still showing recommended. I hate this.

Anyone experiencing something similar?

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has successfully recovered a suspended or deleted Facebook fan page.

I've been running a Facebook fan page dedicated to a sports club for 11 years. It is a fan page, not an official club page, and it was created to share news, updates, and content related to the club.

Recently, Facebook suspended/removed the page for alleged impersonation. I submitted an appeal through the available review option, but it was unsuccessful. The response felt automated, and I still don't understand what specifically violated the rules.

There are many other fan pages dedicated to the same club, so I don't understand why mine was targeted after 11 years.

Apparently I know someone who might have been restricted by someone on facebook in some way that she cannot see any of that person's posts. But they are still friends on facebook. She can only see the public posts. And that person is not someone who will make the effort where it will take a long time to hide like thousands of posts separately only for her. Can someone hide thousands of posts separately by using a single setting in any way?

I noticed mine now shows I’m on Meta One Essential and it looks like live support is limited to the Advanced plan. While there’s still instructions to get to a live agent, the actual options seem to have vanished.

I've read here that through this link i can have my old acc deleted. As long as I provide my id and say no when asked if i have currently have a facebook account. I tried it an hour ago and my account is still up. Also this popped up after I filled put the form and submitted it but i never received any email. Can anyone help me? El día 22 de Septiembre en horas de la madrugada, facebook deshabilitó mi cuenta de perfil. Me pidió hacer una selfie. Luego de hacer la selfie, Oh! Su cuenta ha sido inhabilitada por ciberseguridad. Está es una decisión definitiva. Sin darme opción apelacion.

Luego de ver consejos aquí, comentarios de otros usuarios sobre el Meta Verified, intenté hacer el proceso. Me asistió un agente quien elevó el caso al dpto. De Ciberseguridad.

Luego de un mes y tres días, el sistema cerró el caso sin darme una respuesta, a pesar de que cada 3 días le pedía actualización con fines de que no lo cerrará por inactividad.

Abrí otro caso Pero está vez reportando problema de anuncios en una de mis páginas, ya que el chatbot no me quería pasar a un humano. Luego de hablar nuevamente con un humano, este me pidió fotos, etc, para el final decirme que fue una decisión definitiva, sin darme opción a recuperar mis páginas monetizadas ni otras de negocios, dónde además pagaba publicidad.

Facebook/hacked la primera vez no me sirvió de nada. Pero está vez por curiosidad fui al chatbot de negocios en soporte de facebook. Le expliqué el caso al chatbot de que necesito pagar anuncios en mi página y este me dió un link donde si me permitió volver a subir una selfie.

Sistema dice que en 48horaa me darán una respuesta.

Vuelvo en 48 horas con la actualización. Voy dejando historial para que les sirva a otros. Aunque no todos los casos son iguales, Pero quizás esto ayude a evitar algunos puntos como pagar meta verified si al final no ayudan en nada.

I am starting to get enraged because this is bullshit.

I need to export message data from my old facebook account from 2019 to 2023.

I export data from facebook and i export it to device and it says its done i check AND ITS BLANK! It says theirs data, gives me a size amount but the box is blank.

I have tried multiple browsers and nothing. It won't work!

I have tried cutting the time down only six months of message data, and again I export to device and it always gives me a blank box after saying its read.

THEN i try to export to google drive and it says its "stopped"

I tried exporting to dropbox and it says its stopped.

I’m honestly at my wit’s end with Facebook/Meta support and I’m hoping somebody here has dealt with something similar.

A few days ago I got what looked like an invite to test an “OpenAI AdsGPT” app through Apple TestFlight. It looked legitimate enough that I connected my Facebook account. I later found out it was NOT an official OpenAI product, so I immediately changed my passwords and secured everything.

The problem is, a few hours later Facebook itself started sending me alerts saying they believed my account had been hacked. There were attempted video uploads and other activity I absolutely did not do.

Facebook temporarily restricted my account, restored some things, and then eventually permanently disabled my personal account.

On top of that, I ran a very successful wrestling Instagram account connected to my promotion, and the same thing happened there too TWICE. Those account was completely suspended as well, with basically no meaningful explanation beyond an account-integrity violation.

So now I’ve lost not only my personal Facebook, but also TWO business Instagram accounts I spent years building, promoting shows on, communicating with fans through, and growing organically.

I’ve already:

* Changed all passwords

* Logged out sessions

* Submitted my ID

* Done the hacked-account recovery process

* Appealed the decisions

* Sent screenshots/evidence

Facebook’s own system literally told me my account was hacked, but somehow I’m still being punished for whatever the hacker did. Now the appeals say the decision is final and I can’t request another review.

The most frustrating part is that I cannot seem to reach an actual human being at Meta unless I pay for Meta Verified, and even that doesn’t guarantee anything.

I have screenshots of the TestFlight invite, Facebook’s “we think your account was hacked” alerts, the unauthorized activity, and the account disablements.

Has anyone successfully gotten a REAL human review after Facebook says an account is permanently disabled and there are no more appeals?

I’m not looking for anyone offering paid “account recovery” services or DMs claiming they can hack the account back. I’m specifically looking for legitimate Meta escalation options or someone who has been through this before.

How do I deal with this

I posted on an public group after I joined it, post went to admin approval, and was posted an hour or some time later. As soon as it went live, it received ALOT of engagement, like im sure it got 64 comments in 30 mins. It was a very basic post too. But suddenly the post couldn't load and i couldn't open the group either. checked my activity log and it just said "you stopped being a member of xxx group". What do I even do in this scenario, I had to post an actually advice seeking post on that group, this one was just done to check if the group has admin approval or not. Is there a way to contact fb or the admins to have me back in yhe group?

When I open the comment section of a post the option to choose between most relevant, new or all comments is gone completely. Is there a way to bring it back? Now I just see comments out of order and many of them are hidden.
