THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS SUBREDDIT
Angry-sounding title aside, I'm not actually angry, just a general PSA for the sub. Even though we're named doctorwhocirclejerk, we are not a serious subreddit. Think of us as kind of a meme subreddit but with text. r/DoctorWhumour but actually funny. I've seen a recent spike of users thinking we're a serious sub, I just want to announce that we aren't. Most if not all posts here are in jest (anyone in bad faith (AKA obvious NMDs) are dealt with) and we're usually not serious. Now, we do sometimes be serious, but we almost always mark these with /uj (unjerk) to note that we're being serious and then /rj (...rejerk?) to be sarcastic again.
This isn't directed at anyone in particular, this is just a general PSA for anyone stopping by. Enjoy!

There's a server, also
hopefully that's a decent title
Hello fellow Circlejerkers! On today's monthly episode of What The Fuck Am I Up To, I have a link to share.
Although it's still slightly barren as it was only made a little over a month ago (March 21st), I made a server for this beautiful subreddit! Over there, we Stan Teninch, Benni, Chadpaldaddy, and The Relic (among many others) and do generally DWCJ things. It's pretty cool, and I'm working on adding roles soon, so be prepared to collect roles relating to your favorite underrated characters
Permalink below. Enjoy!
it's a work in progress but it has potential I think

If Benni Saw a Regeneration
If Benni Orphan55 were to witness a regeneration, how would he react or respond?
Any other Companion I'd put down with a sense of wonder, but...Benni's different. In a way he's more of an old hand than any of them. And he's met a single Doctor.
So would he take it in his stride and simply greet the next Doctor, as if he'd just got over an illness? Or would he have the same sense of wonder at seeing a regeneration first hand?
/uj this one might be too arcane for its own good

Texas 15th court of appeals place 2
Ya’ll know WHO the Panhandle Democrats are endorsing. I’m voting for Tom Baker to save the galaxy from Sutekh and bring fair justice to Texan courts.

I have a confession... Heaven Sent is an underrated gem
Tldr: Very underrated and creative episode, and i need to know if anyone agrees with me on this.
Watched this 12th Doctor episode for the first time a few weeks ago, and every now and then i think about it and am just baffled by how low the ratings are. It’s one of the lowest rated Doctor who stories ever… but i found it so captivating, and i absolutely loved how they handled the worldbuilding. That, and all the scifi elements were so refreshingly creative. I really liked the first part which was set entirely in the castle, i think it was a great part and very exciting.
The only problem i had was the second part, which was a lot of running around the castle (which seems to be the common criticism with the episode), but it really does pick up from there. Anyone criticising it for the visuals and effects really needs to remember what show they’re watching. Yes, the constant green screens for every shot look really clunky, but i honestly think it’s really interesting how they experimented with it, and it allowed for some more ambitious settings that we’d never before seen in Doctor who.
With the awful rating of 9.6 on imdb I’m guessing I am the only enjoyer of this episode, but I would be happy to be proven wrong!

Did RTD and Moffat plagarise Inspector Spacetime?

I only watched a couple episodes but i actually dont mind her
Ik its the start of woke who. Because yk its a “stand” for women cos anyone can play roles. As if hes not always a man but the first 4 episodes were quite good. The black man ruined it for me. But tbf didnt give him a chance just get annoyed that they feel the need to make it all woke and crap

Why did the people of Logopolis shrink the TARDIS? Are they stupid? Did they forget the constant of integration?

Thoughts on James Bond RTD1?
Say what you will about him now, but his first era was excellent and much more consistent than the later seasons. Casino Royale is one of my favourite series, Eccleston brought a weariness and gravitas to the role of Bond we haven't seen in a long time. You can say Tennant's Bond is overrated, but there's a reason why he's so well-loved, he deserves the praise.
