This is going to be a controversial post, and I'm sure I will get downvoted. That being said, how in the world do people load up dayz, and actively choose to play in 3rd person servers? Makes camping 10 times worse in a game where camping is already strong. A game that is supposed to be hyper realistic, and yet you are peaking around corners with 3rd person.

Honestly underground water needs to change back to dirty water. The game is way to easy now for veterans, basicly you have made the dynamic water static.. another thing if your temp is red 🥵 hot you take damage only subtle to prevent healing.. much like sykhals dark blue temp. I like the idea of seeing other survivors in situations that they themselves cannot afford to just run to next town or engage in combat.. if that makes sence.

I only like high pop, 1st person only official servers. Even the "official plus" community servers always boost loot spawns. I can walk around on a high pop console official server for hours and rarely find any good guns. i load up into a 90 pop dayone server and will find a machine gun at every military base.

Literally what is even the point of playing DayZ if the loot is boosted. Literally ruins the game.

I heard some aggressive barking when I looted a town around a mansion. I‘m pretty sure there were dogs barking at a player they spotted. Do they only bark when they actually spot players or do they also bark randomly as an ambience sound?

Is the water at the OKB safe to drink direct? I reached it and started drinking directly from it coz I was about to die, and now I can't stop throwing up ...

So a zombie charged me, I pulled out my gun, and the game crash. Logged in at the beach 🤷‍♂️ All gone... 🤦‍♂️

I mean I love the new map, and think the devs made a big improvement on several things... But a survival game that kills you for trying....? Unplayable until they patch this...

At least official players can start to build community's , You know where and what to use to find out where to pvp. Go do that there. Let us mountain hippies exist

I was coming from a swing after exploring the shipwreck on Skalisty island and once I geared up again, it suddenly got very dark and I thought I heard someone approaching. This is when the recording starts with me trying to see or find an enemy but then I decided to move one and after walking a few meters, it got dark again and I heard someone gasping or breathing close to me but there was nobody there and just when I was about to shrug it off, I even said "Hello?" But then I heard evil laughter. Nope. Don't want that. I decided to be a Chicken and quit for the day. 😅

Is somebody playing freaking tricks with me? I once encountered a player that started to tease me by whistling very slowly and then he yelled.

Its possible you can as well under Sonys strict refund policy but you'd probably have to fight for it a bit more, although the devs have admitted they released a faulty product.

What happens when the battery of the new digital padcode ?

I’ve been playing Dayz on and off for years, I’m by no means a hater of the game (beyond the typical self-loathing all true players of the game suffer from) and I’m by no means new to the game. I’d say I have a solid B+ to A- understanding of the game.

But the heat sickness element to Badlands is almost unplayable.

Am I missing something? I stay hydrated, I wash my face, drench my clothes, I try not to sun bathe but I do want to play the fucking game a bit so I have to go outside to move between houses/villages during the day.

Am I missing something, or is the heat stroke genuinely just a merciless experience?

I'm playing on a PC server, just watched someone skywalk into my base, aimbot from a mile out, so I logged inside a room. Now the door is locked and I cannot open it. I've tried my lockpick 20 times, used a whole sewing kit to repair my gloves trying to punch it down, broke my machete hacking at it, and even put 7 12g buck into it, no change at all. Did the hacker do this to me or is the game just that broken

I have always been obsessed with making videos like this. It's a hobby of mine and I hope the video hypes you up to play some dayz with your friends.

So me and my friend were looting this mili base and just as we about to leave, I spot 2 players the road and I get my DMR out and take aim. I shoot 3 times and they all miss. I tell my teammate to hang back while I push up with my m4. I pushed up and flanked and while that happened my friend got killed so I unconned and killed one, then another. I think that’s it until I hear someone running behind me and he starts shooting a saiga at me. Thank the lord his aim was terrible because he missed every single shot. I pulled out my r12, killed him and another guy with a ghille hood and saiga tried shooting me but I killed him too. After the fight I cut up and ate all their bodies because I was a cannibal beforehand. GGS to those guys.

Anyone else have this issue

Early on I filled up a blood bag with my own blood. Throughout the weeks it managed to get badly damaged so today I decided go loot some medical supplies, found 2 new blood bags and filled them up and decided to give myself my blood back using the "old bag". Right after I did that my character got the disease icon and started sneezing non stop. Popped a multi vitamin and after that I popped a tetra and now my character is "healthy".

My question is what on earth just happened? Why did I get sick from my own blood? All my stats were white and I didn't eat anything contaminated. My blood type is O+.

Switch 2 version (and playing on Chernaurus)if that makes any difference.

EDIT: judging from the comments, either

A: Those 2 bags lowered my immune system

B: I had a oncoming/active cold when I collected the blood.

Should i keep my Savannah, or the scar 17 i just got from a bunker, not much of a close pvper, prefer pve more, so what do you guys think? would love the scar 16 with a suppressor over the 17 to be honest for my secondary to my savannah, but havent had luck on the suppressor, running a SGK 9mm with pistol suppressor at the moment in that regard
