Discussion Just wanna say thanks, chooms.
Just wanna give a massive thank you to this community for being chooms and standing up for trans rights. Hopefully we can put this all behind us now, but it means a lot to see how this community came together and didn't put up with the bullshit.

Love A Cyberpunk sub with mods being against trans representation is crazy
I am trans myself, and i loved the entirely of Claire's campaign in the game and how much of a deep and complex character she is, and how enjoyable and nice she is as a person, it makes me very happy when media treats queer representation as something that shouldn't be shoved up with stereotypes and only made as a tiny little side of its content.
If yall actually played the game, watched the animes and comprehends the entirely of the punk culture, how the fuck do you decide that the best way to erradicate transphobia is by completely erasing trans representation and recognizition instead of being loud and annoying about those who shares hatred over this community???
If you really value the community of the game you supposedly understood very well, you are probably aware that you're doing this moderation job for free and there will always have more people on the waiting line that should be happy to moderate this place aswell.
If that somehow ever came into a consensus through the whole mod team, yall should do something else in your free time and let other people that actually understood the Cyberpunk universe and its critiques be moderators, and not you.
Trans rights are human rights 🏳️⚧️

Meta Protect the Dolls, no punk in cyberpunk i guess
Just got my post taken down after the mod came and said they would "fix the situation" and no longer ban claire post.
You side with people who are against changing your body to what you want in a game where you legit can customise your body even going back to the ripperdoc midgame? Are people missing the fact that cyberpunk's core message is leftist and political?
EDIT: Situation is finally simmering down y'all. Seeing the community come together has honestly been really heartwarming. Remember y'all, as Johnny says, "never stop fighting"

Discussion How do you fumble your understanding of Cyberpunk as badly as some of the people on this subreddit???
Some people here are "tired" of the trans-centric convos going on here but that tiredness coming from cisgender people means absolutely nothing compared to how exhausted trans people are of having our existence questioned, sanitised, and treated as something to be debated and agreed/disagreed with.
Cyberpunk is and always will be a HEAVILY political game, and the more reliant a community is upon politics to avoid being erased and mistreated for the sake of convenience and bigotry, the more that community will be drawn to politically fuelled franchises.
We are here, nothing will get rid of us, and alongside the disabled community the trans community will ALWAYS be the most Cyberpunk group of people there is, no matter how tired people get of us proclaiming our existence.
Trans rights are human rights. Tired of hearing it? tough shit. We are in every community and we will not stop reminding the world that we are here.

Discussion I heard there's been some mods in here that don't like Claire
As a trans woman myself, I think whole situation is disgusting. You should be ashamed to be Cyberpunk fans because being trans is a normal thing in the real world and ESPECIALLY in Cyberpunk universe.
Also a couple fun facts, did you know Jago Szabó (who is also canonically trans) from the Phantom Liberty DLC is voiced by a trans man? The voice actors name is Shaan Dasani.
And did you know TECHNICALLY everyone that has cyberware is trans? Transhumanism is what its called.

Love Nightcity Metro System supports Trans rights with it's trans-ports
I hope that in a world where changing parts of your body for chrome is a normal thing, chosing to change your gender is just another tuesday.
Love is love

Discussion I love Claire but there is a Trans man that's just as hot as her and we need to talk about him more 😍
His name is Jago Szabó and he's my favorite twink

Discussion Saying you don't want to "get into mod drama" while suspending the only mod that had the courage to speak up against a bigoted stance in the sub rules is utterly PATHETIC
Head mod trying to damage control (check edit) an utterly BS rule to the sub and ostracizing someone that's fighting against it is cowardice and slimy. This is the kind of shit that causes subreddits to lose all faith in moderation and fold to bot-activity. BULLSHIT you're trying to be cordial by avoiding the drama, it was a BULLSHIT rational to begin with.
Edit: Going to add that the Mod who spoke up's post has apparrently been removed citing Rule 8- Witch-hunt, Accusations, and Calls to action
The Mods post was absolutely not calling for a witch hunt, did not name specific mods, and did not call for action against the moderation team. They specifically noted that they didn't believe that the rule was meant to be added for bigoted reasons, but rather as a method to avoid the burnout from constant BS reports about the character. They were respectful in this post and explained their disagreement with the moderation team appropriately.

Discussion I’m so in love with Claire. Trans rights are human rights
There’s nobody I’d rather talk to in the bar there’s nobody I’d rather race with. Complex, strong, and cares about people she loves in any circumstance I cannot blame her for wanting revenge for her husband I can only blame myself for not choosing the dialogue that allowed me to help her.
Fuck this mod team and everyone on it the only one of you with balls is gone now so what’s the point.

Art If evil why so adorable? And yes she’s controversial.
Not a good person per se but I really get her anger towards Arasaka. R.I.P. her dad.
I’m sure that red lighting showed her that D was the real deal.

Discussion We shouldn’t need an incident like this to have the minimum amount of respect for trans people
They go through enough shit as it is. Come on people we’re all people too.

Screenshot If you can't handle a Trans person in a game revolving around Transhumanism then maybe cyberpunk as a genre ain't for you. And if mods can't handle dealing with biggots then get more or better mods.
Now instead of dealing with a bunch of gonkass chuds you gotta deal with a whole community of pissed of folk. Congrats!

Discussion A certain section of this community needs to learn how to take a win.
Just want to make it very clear from the top to try and head off people 'waffles and pancake-ing'. The original mod decision to ban Claire related posts was clearly wrong. It was either actively malicious, or maliciously incompetent. Either way: bad decision, glad it was reversed.
That being said, the rule has been reversed, the mod responsible for it has been removed, and the mod that objected has been reinstated. So at this point, seriously, what is the tangible deliverable action that the people spamming the sub want? Like genuinely, what is it you want changed?
At this point people are just spamming the sub with low-effort, karma-farming posts related to an issue that has already been resolved. What do you think you're achieving now, other than making this sub unusable to anyone actually interested in the game. Because these posts are simply not relevant to the game. There are actual parts of the game related to trans people that you could actually talk about (Claire's storyline, Johnny’s feelings of body dysmorphia with a female V, etc), but just posting 'Claire+Trans_flag.png' is not a substantively relevant to the game. Obviously, trans issues, and other real world political issues, and directly relevant to the themes and message of the game, but just posting a real world political issue with only the barest tangential relation to the game is not a relevant post.
That people genuinely seem to think they're achieving anything of value by spamming a subreddit after an issue has been resolved is so mind-numbing. The rule was changed, you got your win, good. Now take the win, move on, and actually discuss the issue with some substantive connection to the content of the game, if you want.
Anyway, about to mute this sub and wait it out for this to this inevitably blowing over when people get tired of pissing into the wind with spam✌️.

Meta 5.7k upvotes and over 800 comments agreeing and the mods remove it. They've been watching this the whole time, they just don't care about trans people.

Discussion So, just wanna be clear mods, something is a "witch hunt" once people start calling you out?
As the title says, why is it a witch hunt now that we all know how two-faced your apology is? Removing the only mod to speak out against your shit decision on top of only suspending the mod that caused this is an insanely tone deaf decision.

Discussion Playing a 2nd playthrough, I forgot how much I fucking hate Dexter.
I hate Dexter DeShawn, we risked our asses for him, and he Shoots us in the head. Jackie died for basically nothing and all I got to show for it is a bullet in my skull and a ghost rockstar in my head. I feel like Courier 6 from Fallout New Vegas. I don't know if there's a way to kill him, but I at least want to know if he's dead, or even I can kill him myself.
