🔨 My Game - In-development Patternbook — you’re an architect, and clients write to you asking for a house (now with floor plans!!!!)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m an architect, and I’m making Patternbook, a game where clients write to you asking for a house. When I posted it here a couple of weeks ago, the top comment was “Man I’d be all over this if it was floor plans instead.” Fair point, so I've added them in!
Give it a try if you're interested - would greatly appreciate your input and II love seeing what people come up with.
There’s a free playtest on itch open right now until Sat Oct. 31st, for mouse or trackpad (not phones): https://arcadesquirrel.itch.io/patternbook
If you’d like to follow it on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5407220/Patternbook/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=cozygames2
What kind of house would you want a client to ask you for?

So I was always wondering what "Tiny Glade, but you craft the sky" would look like. A game that flips the camera around and gives you full control over the horizon line and the literal atmosphere. Here's my attempt so far :)
Feedback is welcome! (I already know that it needs some trees)

🔥 My Game - Released We made Kettle Street, a cosy British life sim where you drive the local bus and furnish your first flat
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! We’re AssurePath Games, the developers of Kettle Street, and we wanted to introduce our little town of Kettleby.
You move into a mostly empty flat, find work and gradually make a life for yourself. The jobs are playable: drive the number 12 bus, deliver parcels, serve customers at Café Rosa or pull pints at the Red Lion. Your wages go towards rent, furniture and making the flat feel like home.
Between shifts, there are neighbours to get to know, ducks to feed, a Saturday market and trips home for Sunday dinner. Mum also has opinions about your spending habits.
The town follows the real calendar, so autumn brings fallen leaves, pumpkins and Bonfire Night fireworks.
It’s available on Android, iOS & Steam coming soon. Your first in-game week is free, then there’s a one-time purchase to unlock the full game. No adverts or subscriptions, it plays offline and we have already added tons of player suggestions to the game since launch.
Find Kettle Street on Google Play
Happy to answer questions about the game and if you give it a try, we’d love to hear how you get on in Kettleby.

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making Brizmere, a cozy game set in the afterlife, where you can farm, run a little restaurant, and meet the souls who once had paws
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello! I'm the solo developer behind Savory Seasons: Brizmere.
Long story short, I lost my fur baby earlier this year, and that's a big part of how Brizmere came to be.
Brizmere is a little town in the afterlife where animals get to grow up and become human. I like to imagine that if my little guy is somewhere out there, he's in a place like this, enjoying a warm, happy life of his own until we meet again.
I'd love to hear what you think. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. I'm also bringing the game to a local game expo this December, so I'll get the chance to watch people play it in person and see what needs work.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! I've been making this little game on my own for 3.5 months, and today the Steam page finally went live.
You're a mother duck, and a storm has scattered your ducklings across the islands. Waddle, swim and glide around to find them, solve little puzzles, and lead them back home. No combat, no timer, nothing can go wrong.
I'd love to hear what you think! 💛

Help with recommendations looking for games where you do things
Sorry for the confusing title; I just don't know a good way to describe it. I'm looking for a game where you do one thing over and over again, like mining, cleaning, fixing, exploring and collecting, etc. PowerWash Simulator is a good example of this. More examples are like the "tidy up " games and some incremental games. Mostly, I'm looking for something relaxing and satisfying. Thanks in advance!
Games I've enjoyed
Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop
Folded Fables: Tidy Up The Dragon Hoard
One Man´s Trash
A Game About Digging A Hole™
Liminal Logistics
Shelve the Potions!
SteamWorld Dig 1&2
Mining Mechs & Mining Merchant
My Little Universe
PowerWash Simulator
Chop Chop Inc.
Black Friday Janitor: Clean the Whole Mall
Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!
Leaf it Alone
Berry Bury Berry
Cleaning Up The Puzzle Gallery
Little Kitty, Big City
Supermarket Chaos
I Am Fish
Kill It With Fire
Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip
Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator

🔥 My Game - Released Reef Sweep - cozy game about island life and cleaning up coral reefs from the invasive lionfish
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! I’ve just released Reef Sweep, a free browser game about diving and life in a little coastal town called Lantern Bay.
You head out to catch invasive lionfish, bring them home to prepare and sell to the restaurant, and help the reef recover. Between dives, there are people to get to know, a boat to work towards and quieter things to do around town, including playing guitar.
There is spearfishing and catch preparation, so worth mentioning if that isn’t your thing. The conservation side was inspired in part by Lionfish Extermination Corp.
The full game is free on Wavedash, not just the demo. It supports touch, keyboard and controller. I’ve been playing on my phone, which is also where I recorded the trailer 🙂
Play: https://wavedash.com/games/reef-sweep
Trailer: https://youtu.be/T4-xGIkh2QA
For transparency, I use AI tools in development, including coding and some assets. The trailer shows actual gameplay.

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making Gardenkin, a cozy garden game with hands-on weeding and cooking 🌱
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi! I'm a solo dev making Gardenkin, a relaxed game about bringing an overgrown community garden back to life, bed by bed.
- Weeding is a little hands-on moment: drag the weeds out, swipe the aphids off and leave the ladybugs alone, they eat the aphids.
- Cooking is done by hand at the preserves table: peel, chop, stir, pour to the mark and bake. The first time a recipe shows you every step; after that you cook it from memory. There are nine dishes, from berry jam and pumpkin soup to apple pie and honey pears.
- Seven neighbours come back one by one. You carry the harvest to them yourself and build things together: Theo's shed, the old pavilion, a pier over the pond.
- Little helpers join in later: rabbits harvest ripe beds, a hedgehog takes the surplus to market and a frog waters the beds near the pond.
- Nothing is lost: no combat, no energy bar, no daily login, and crops never die. A forgotten bed just turns into compost.
It's in eight languages and coming to Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5454520/Gardenkin/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=cozygames
Which would you cook first: berry jam, pumpkin soup or apple pie?

🔨 My Game - In-development Scraplings, my cozy factory game on an endless sea of trash, launches into Early Access on November 5!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! After a long stretch of building, shredding and recycling, we finally have a date: Scraplings launches into Early Access on November 5, 2026.
Scraplings is a cozy, side-view factory and trade game. You build your factory in layers on top of an endless sea of trash. Belts, elevators and tunnels move everything around, and bulky waste slowly turns into something useful.
We're a small indie studio and this is our first game. We'll keep building it together with our players during Early Access, so feedback means a lot to us.
If it looks like your kind of game, a wishlist helps us a ton:

Happy to answer any questions in the comments!

Help with recommendations best controller supported supermarket game?
I’ve tried supermarket together and the UI and organization drives me insane (re: needing to go back and forth for objects to organize the store) and doesn’t really have controller support. You can input controls for a gamepad but it’s really awkward.
for reference, I have a tremor and typically prefer using a xbox pro controller for my steam games and have some joint issues in my hands as well. I can do transactions in game with my mouse if needed, but for the main game I need controller support.
I tried the demo for better mart and liked it, don’t like that you can’t stack multiple things on the dolly (I’m a little meh that you have to take care of the crates yourself instead of them disappearing), but I DO like the ui and pretty much everything else and it was easy to use my controller until it came to using the register (which, eventually can have cashiers and I just switched to my mouse for the meantime which was fine, I just can’t do it for long). I also like that it has multiplayer but it’s not a deal breaker. I really liked that people asked for help (it was really funny when they would tell me they forgot what they needed or a dude asking me if I could see how big his arms are) and that they use carts and carrying baskets. I really like you can turn off cash transactions and turn them on for extra xp. the xp is a little addicting dopamine wise— definitely love the xp and unlocking things over time.
I noticed though that it doesn’t matter what I put out, everything is going to get sold anyway, and that’s a little frustrating since I have to replenish so much stock all the time.
I also have megastore simulator on my wishlist and it looks really good to me, but I don’t know how easy it is to use a controller (not steam deck) and there’s no demo. I like that you can stack crates and that there’s multiple departments and how the register is set up. Not crazy that you have to input the number for the credit card transactions, but that’s pretty typical in these. it wasn’t a thing in better mart and was really nice.
and of course there’s also supermarket simulator— no demo for that, either. I’ve seen the ui and it looks a little frustrating just because of how the grid works when setting things up and things not always lining up, and it’s really frustrating that there’s a lot of paid dlc, but I know it’s one of the top supermarket sim games. I do like that all tools are basically in your pockets instead of having to run back and forth with them like supermarket together. It also looks like it’s multiplayer? (can anyone confirm?)
I’m really not that interested in the card market game, just to note. I did also try leafy corner and it was super cute, in case there’s tiny ones like that one to try out.
I did look through the reddit btw and a lot of posts are pretty old and don’t go over the good and ugly of each game, just how they compare to each other. If anyone can provide quality of life features they’ve noticed in these i’d really appreciate it! hopefully this post will help other people w the same questions I have too :)
thanks!

🌱 My Game - Demo Thank you for trying Coldline: Disconnect — here’s a look at the updated demo after Next Fest
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi again! I shared Coldline: Disconnect here before, and following Steam Next Fest, I wanted to thank everyone from this community who tried the demo or shared their thoughts.
Your feedback has helped us improve the little interactions at the repair bench. We’ve added a repairable walkie-talkie, reduced consecutive minigame repeats, and introduced clearer hints for voltage and cable repairs. There’s also better sound feedback for switches and other interactions, alongside smoother scene transitions and several bug fixes.
The video attached shows gameplay from the updated demo, which is still available to play. We’ll keep working on it as more feedback comes in.
For anyone discovering it for the first time, I’m one of the developers. Coldline combines hands-on electronics repairs with an espionage story involving war and difficult choices, so its quieter workbench moments sit within a darker setting.
Thanks again for spending some time with something we’ve put so much care into. If you’ve returned to the demo, I’d love to hear how the updated repairs feel!

Hidden Capybaras with Orange is a series of hiddenobject games - a bit like those cat-finding games, but with capybaras instead! We also have nighttime levels where you can shining a light around. Everything is hand-drawn by an actual human being :D
The games were already available on Steam and Switch, and now, thanks to being selected for a GOG event with my new game, I also got the opportunity to release Hidden Capybaras on GOG.
Hope you'll enjoy them! :)

🔥 My Game - Released My cozy game Tidy Farm just launched on steam with over 7,000 wishlists! 🥳

A big accomplishment for our team of two making this and other games together. We do not use any gen AI and try to utilize our skills to create some fun and worth while experiences. We're the devs behind Too Many Toys! which was very well received and so we followed closely in it's footsteps to create an even cozier game and had 200 players online so far right after launch! 🎉
If you're looking to relax, you can organize over 4,000 items on our cute farm. Vegetables and fruits are scattered across the fields, tools are lying everywhere, flowers are piled up, eggs are rolling around, and even the animals are running freely. It's a big mess that needs cleaning up!
(There's even hidden collectables you can find for a surprise...)

🔥 My Game - Released My wife and I just released the biggest update for our cozy dice-farming game! 🌱
Hi cozy gamers! My wife and I are a small indie team, and we've been making Harvest Dice Profit, a farming game with a little twist: instead of growing ordinary crops, you grow dice and use their rolls to build up your farm!
We've just released our biggest update yet, and it includes some features we've been wanting to add for a while:
🌱 A Prestige system for long-term progression
🎲 More dice to discover and farm
⚙️ New AOE tools to speed up your farming
✨ Performance improvements for smoother gameplay
Making a game as a tiny team has been a learning experience, and it's lovely to see the game continue to grow through updates.

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making Spectrakin, a monster-taming RPG with town recruitment/upgrades, set in a forgotten land where civilisation mysteriously collapsed
Hi! I'm the dev behind Spectrakin, a monster-taming RPG inspired by the GBA+DS Pokémon games and Digimon World. The core gameplay is centred around three key pillars:
- Team-building: Catch, train, and build a team of unique Spectrakin, with growth systems that influence their strengths in and out of battle, as well as their evolution paths.
- Adventure: Explore the diverse region of Eidolia, uncover the tragic history of the world, encounter strange elemental factions, and discover what lies beyond the boundary between worlds.
- Town development: Meet humans and Spectrakin on your journey, help them with their troubles, and convince them to join your town to unlock new facilities and upgrades.
Once a thriving civilisation, Eidolia was abandoned following a mysterious catastrophe that brought humanity's ambitions to an abrupt end. Now, generations later, people are slowly returning to its ruins, unaware of the secrets that still lie buried beneath them. As you explore in search of your missing brother, you'll piece together the events that led to Eidolia's downfall, and discover that the forces behind it may not be as distant as they seem.
Please consider following my Kickstarter page and hitting the "Notify me on launch" button if you're interested, it really helps me out! You can also wishlist on Steam.
