Help Needed Does anyone use a Kodak Luma 350 projector?

Recently got one on marketplace for $50 but I don’t see anyone else using this one, just the 150 or 75. Can this one be used for cookies? I don’t have it in my position as it was in my moms city who is coming up next week. Just want to make sure I didn’t waste $50.

6 of each cookie. Pumpkin spice flavored. Took me a week start to finish this time. (Start includes mixing the dough) I feel like I am getting faster and/or more efficient.

Help Needed RI management

I just do cookies for a hobby about three or four times a year but I am trying to up my game. I usually use two thicknesses, a flood consistency and outline. I've tried just using one but it spreads a lot or the icing is really thicker than I enjoy. however, I am wanting to do more puffy icing. my question is, is this a third consistency or is there a way to use the outline as puffy icing? and also those of you who do cookies more often, does that mean you have three bags of each color? because if you have three bags of each color and you're using five different colors, there's so many bags of icing on my table. I don't even have room for the cookies. I'm just trying to figure out how to manage this a little better. I'd love some input

Help Needed Cookie Sealer recs?

Hi cookie maker friends! I've just upped my cookie game by trying out my dehydrator for expedited icing application (thanks for the many recs on that, I absolutely LOVE it!! A true game changer!) Now I've been on the fence for a while about getting a heat sealer to expedite my packing process. I've had this Metronic model in my Amazon cart for ages. Does anyone have personal experience with using it for sealing cellophane cookie bags? The reviews are good, but I'd love some personal testimonials from some folks first-hand about sealers they swear by before pulling the trigger. Thanks in advance. And keep inspiring creativity through cookie making! It's so enjoyable to be a part of this community.🙏🏼🙌🏼

My cookies for Halloween.

Pumpkin, spooder web, bat, witch hat, skeleton key(love the pun on that one), and the ever elusive ghostopus.

Swiss buttercream

Have any of you seasoned cookiers used swiss buttercream....pipped or thinned to a glaze? I love it so much but i know it doesnt crust so you cant stack them because of the butter and was wondering if there was a way to cut butter ant increase meringue or whatever to make it work.

Made these minis to bring to my son’s daycare for their Halloween party 🎃 ☺️ I realized after that the lines in the stems should be vertical instead of horizontal, but no biggie, I don’t think the kids will care!

Most recent set, 4th set ever!

My MIL gifted me these fall cutters for my cookie journey so I decided to make another practice set! They definitely aren’t perfect by any means but I’m proud of them! Does anyone have experience using oil based dyes in your royal icing? Mine seems to separate? For a lack of a better term, when I let it sit too long, causing the white spots on the big orange pumpkins :/ I’d love any critiques or advice! Thanks in advance 🫶🏻

Help Needed Help with 224 tip!

I’ve filled my bags with stiff floral consistency royal icing and am using tips 16 and 224 for flowers. As shown in the picture. For practicing I have both the same color and just split into two bags. Tip 16 is working perfectly with the consistency while 224 I can’t get it to make this flower to save my life. I’ve emptied and stiffened it twice now but it isn’t making that more 3D look when I twist the bag. I’ve tried leaving it in contact with the surface, lifting as I twist but they suck and it seems SO stiff. Tip 16 pic for reference
