Okay, I'm planning on buying the watch below. But I HATE leather straps. Just a texture and sensation thing. You know, how when you watch you hands, and the leather strap might get wet? So I hate that feeling. And feeling the wetness in the strap.

So I was thinking about black, or orange silicone straps. What are your thoughts, and what vibes does each color give.

Cerulean and fantasy blue were voted out.

The sassafras trees turn this wonderful shade every year. It’s orange, but it’s so much more than that. It almost glows, especially at dawn and dusk. What would you name it?

Light navy and royal purple have been eliminated. Upvote my comment with the color you want to eliminate.

Blue bonnet and Picton were eliminated. This is the last day of double eliminations.

This image is just what I think we would mostly associate UVA and NIR colors. UVA would be a color of high energy plasma and radiation. NIR is a color of deep warmth and smoldering fire.

Don't think of it as an extension of violet and red. Assume NIR and UVA are unique primary colors as red, green and blue are. Computer displays would need to have five pixels instead of three to match our vision.

If we evolved with those colors, how would these colors be used in movies and art? What would those colors symbolize?

Hello, I've been reading around Ancient Greek stories and realized that the word Xanthos have been thrown around quite a lot.

Sometimes it meant Yellow, sometimes it seems to be along the colors of a fried fish. Yellow, or tawny.

And I remembered clearly in the wiki of ξανθός, it had been listed underneath the Brown-ish hues and also been listed in the Yellow hues. But when I checked back, it was gone underneath the Brown section.

But when you read around discussions, it was still described as also Brown. I'm confused as hell. Please help me.

Navy and Electric navy were eliminated.
I had to miss posting for a day because the last one got marked nsfw by reddit filters and taken down. The lovely mods marked my post sfw and suggested reddit clocked my posting near identical pictures everyday and marked it spam.
