I was curious as I passed by a TV shop and how they advertised their TV sets that showed the vibrancy that the specific screen is good at displaying, and wondered how much does it really matter in the present where there is technology that can produce insane quality. If you were up for it then you could also share why you bought certain screens/monitor if you had decisions for them.

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a tool I’ve been building called Mixing Bench.
The main idea is to eliminate paint waste and guesswork when trying to hit target colors from reference images. It's designed to be a tool for getting the right color from a digital reference and the exact recipe to paint it in real life. Instead of giving you arbitrary RGB/HEX values, it calculates actual mixing ratios based only on the paint tubes you actually own.

I’m currently considering a career change into personal color analysis and would love to hear from people who have actually trained or worked professionally in the field.
I currently work full-time in product development, so my plan would be to get properly trained and begin building experience with clients on the side before ever considering leaving my current career.
I’ve been looking into the **Color Craft certification program** in particular. Has anyone here completed it? Did you feel adequately prepared to analyze real clients afterward, including clients who weren’t immediately obvious/easy to type?
I’d also love recommendations for other reputable training programs or certifications I should compare before choosing one.
For those who became professional analysts: **where did you train, and looking back, would you choose the same program again?**
Thank you! I’m trying to do as much research as possible before investing in training.

I’m trying to figure out what my skin tone is for makeup, clothing color choices etc. Someone told me I’m an olive but I’m not totally sure about it. I tan easily but I also feel like I have peachy skin undertones. My veins are a blue green if that helps. I guess my skin looks different in different lighting too so I don’t know lol.

Alr after much contemplation, I've decided that I wanna make an instagram acc for my poems and poetries. i wanna post in the same bg and font colour. but the problem is there's too many options. at this rate i genuinely cannot choose anything.
plss lemme know which colour combinations will looks comfortable and impacting(?).
and also if you have any other suggestions other than the ones in the pictures, plsss lemme know. suggestions and ideas for the poem acc are welcomed:))
(i was kinda frustrated till I started the black bg so don't mind the frustration shown in that lol)

My sister said the palette on this was muddy. What does that mean and how do i change the colors to fix it?

Does anyone have any book, youtube video, or websites that will give me guidance on how to improve my color theory?

Q1 is at the top, Q2 on the right, Q3 at the bottom, Q4 on the left.
January is the blue and we end December with the purple.

Red is the rage that burns in my chest, The fire that never allows me to rest. Blue is the sadness that falls like the rain, A thousand small tears hiding oceans of pain.
Yellow is laughter that dances in gold, A little bit of warmth when the world feels cold. Purple is magic, a dream in the night, The beauty of darkness that swallows the light.
Green is the hope that grows through the dirt, A promise that healing can soften the hurt. Pink is the love that makes broken hearts bloom, A rose finding beauty in a world full of gloom.
Black is the silence that swallows the sound, The feeling of falling when no one's around. White is the peace that we desperately seek, The quiet of souls who are tired and weak.
But colors are more than the eyes can see, They're pieces of you, they're pieces of me. They're every goodbye, every kiss, every scar, The wishes we whisper to each distant star.
For life isn't painted in one perfect hue, It's crimson and violet, gray skies and blue. And maybe we're rainbows, both broken and bright, Made beautiful by our darkness and light.
So paint me in colors the world cannot name, In shades of my sorrow, my love, and my flame. For even the colors that fade into gray Hold stories of beauty that never decay.

I've recently gotten my hands on a miniature bust, and wanted to try and give it some atmosphere by painting the skintone being lit up by a diffused and muted teal cool light, such as seen in the fog.
My question is, how do I take into account the impact of the teal lighting on the bust's skin? Especially for the skin I feel that since the colors nearly are complementary, simply mixing the muted teal into the skintone would just make a muddy color, but as the paint is very muted will it simply just not impact the paint that much?
