recently started chess after a while. I hate when players do this
What's the point of trading EVERY piece? you end up in an endgame-like situation in so few moves and gets boring as hell.

So satisfying!!
Personally I believe Knights> bishops because of their ability to check the opponent’s king. I’d like to know if any high elo players would agree.

Vienna Gambit when it works
Pretty proud on the mating sequence there

This is crazy, no?
I was checking an inaccuracy I made and I just wanna say, I am NOT good enough to castle like that yet. I would never play this in a billion years.
How many of you would try this move?

MISCELLANEOUS Got my first personal laptop
Had an old laptop that my little bro and i used to share, usually just to play games and sometimes studying on it. Got my own laptop now that I've entered college and i guess i just have to now(one of the first thing that I'm doing on the laptop apart from logging in and stuff). Omw to lose another game(I'm stupid).

POST-GAME How am I supposed to ever get to 1200...
Of course when I'm one game away I get this guy playing at a 2000 level with 90% accuracy. This was a 34 move game as well, I didn't just fall for an opening trap. Blundered a pawn, and that was that.

POST-GAME Had to post my first smothered mate 🎉

Made a mistake early on but I SACRIFICED THE ROOK! I’m 1130 blitz and the game was 3 + 2 btw

What are some gambits you should not accept?
Either ones that are difficult to play into, or ones that even the engine would accept.

Best opening againist 1. E4 for black for 600 elo?
I started learning the london for white and have gone very far, but aside from doing mrrior london when possible what should I be playing againist E4 that's not E5?

POST-GAME What could have I done differently?
I was playing white, 10+5.
I ended up winning but did not feel like I deserved it.
My main idea once I created doubled pawns in the center was to keep pressuring those while reacting on the queen side.
But once the whole pawn chain was locked I ran out of ideas and time (I had 1:30 min at move 34).
What strategy should I follow in similar situations?

ADVICE How do I get better at reading chess terminology
I’m about 850 rapid right now and trying to get to 1200, a lot of the material i’m trying to learn from uses the standard chess nomenclature like ng6+, b5, etc. I understand how the system works and what everything means, but I cannot visualize for the life of me where each square is. Like if someone says to move the knight to b4, I literally have to count out the squares like some kind of primate
How do I get better at this? Is there an easy way or do I just have to brute force it into my brain
