Gear Question Gazelle T5 Backcountry in summer?

Has anyone used the Gazelle T5 during the summer or warmer times? I live in MN and am thinking about buying this tent as I like to camp this time of year mostly when the temps can get down to freezing at night. I know the tent won't keep you warm per se but I know it'll sure keep you hot if it has poor ventilation!

From a couple weeks ago πŸ’š Next one is coming up soon, and we’ll be doing it again after that! It’s so hard seeing everyone’s photos over the summer when it’s 108 degrees here πŸ₯² so I’m very happy to share these photos with you all! Happy camping to everyone ✌️

First time wildcamping and it was a pretty chill night.
Found a spot in Heredia, Costa Rica, near a river. Big open field with sections covered in trees. Only company was a few cows and horses. Very quiet.

Had a couple of guys wandering around and shouting near the property entrance around midnight, but they stayed away from my camp and left after a few minutes.

Setup was a 3x3 FREE SOLDIER tarp over a 1P Camppal tent.

I’m 42 and mostly got into this because I enjoy being alone in nature, away from people as much as possible.

Next time I’ll pack lighter and try sleeping in a hammock for the first time.
One night down.

Trip Advice Has anyone camped on St Kilda (Scotland)? I'd love to hear your experience!

Getting the camping bug recently and stumbled upon the National Trust page for St Kilda, where I learned that you can camp there for up to 5 nights! It's been on my bucket list to visit for a while after many camping/cycle touring trips in the Highlands, but now that I know it's possible to camp I'm kinda obsessed with the idea (though more as daydream fuel than an actual plan to go haha)

Exploring it as a complete hypothetical at the moment (although I will be back in Scotland next summer to visit family ....) and would love to hear about how it was like camping there if anyone's done it! The sense I get is that it's a pack-as-if-you'll-be-stranded-there, cut-off-from-the-outside-world kind of experience. Did you take any special gear that you might not on a normal trip? How busy does the island get with other campers and day trippers? What's it like to be so completely isolated from the rest of the world? Would love to hear anything and everything you'd like to share about the experience!

Gear Question Anyone have any experience with hot tents? Looking for advice on choosing between POMOLY and OneTigris models.

Getting my first hot tent as I started winter camping a lot more last year and would like to be more comfortable in the cold. It’s usually just me and my dog but if there was extra sleeping space for another person, I think it would finally incentivize some of my friends into coming on a winter trip with me. I really like the outdoor lounging/awning feature of the ravens nest and the stovehut but I am worried about not having a waterproof tub floor like the chalet has. Does anyone have experience with any of these tents? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
