šŸ™ Quick Update: Posts Should Be Flowing Again!

First of all, sorry to everyone whose post was held for review recently. šŸ˜…

A Reddit filter was catching many legitimate beta testing posts, which created delays and extra work for both users and moderators.

āœ… I’ve reviewed and approved the backlog.

āœ… I’ve also updated the subreddit settings to reduce false positives going forward.

If your post was delayed, thank you for your patience.

As always:

  • Be respectful
  • No spam
  • Keep posts relevant to beta testing, feedback, and product validation
  • Include a clear description of what you’re building and what feedback you’re looking for

šŸ’¬ Also, our Discord community is growing fast and is a great place to get feedback, find testers, and connect with other builders:

https://discord.gg/AN8P9M9fp8

Thanks for helping make r/BetaTests a useful place for builders and testers alike! šŸš€

Beta test: a no-code team of AI agents that research and write together (invite-only, feedback wanted)

Hi! I'm the founder of Agenlate (https://agenlate.com/), now in BETA after 8 weeks of building.

What it is: you describe AI agents in plain words, put them in a room, and a supervisor makes them work together on one goal. The video has a short example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ5ml9vHcps

What you can test today:

- Connect your own OpenRouter API key (for now, in the beta, that's how you use any of the language models listed in the platform)

- Create 2 or 3 agents (for example, a researcher and a writer)

- Give the room a goal, like a short research brief with sources

- Run it and follow every step and its cost

- Use the result (it can be copied or downloaded)

What's not there yet: it focuses on research and writing today; I'd like to take these same teams to more complex tasks later.

What I need from you: try it on a task of your own, then tell me where you got stuck, what worked and what you'd want next. Honest criticism helps more than praise.

Comment or DM me for a beta code. Questions before you start or while you're using it? Ask me and I'll gladly guide you.

[Android] I built a clean, portrait mobile poker game with zero ads or purchases. Looking for honest feedback on table flow!

• Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I got tired of mobile poker apps that bombard you with 30-second video ads after every hand, push you to buy fake chip packages, and drain your battery.

I’ve been building Snap Call—a lightweight, portrait Texas Hold'em game designed for quick, distraction-free play with friends or against bots. It’s strictly play chips only: no real money, no in-app purchases, and no pop-up video ads.

We are currently in Google Play's closed beta testing, and I'd love some honest feedback from this community on:

  1. Table Pacing: Does the deal and card reveal speed feel natural, or is it too fast/slow?

  2. One-Handed Ergonomics: Are the action buttons (Fold, Check, Raise) comfortable to reach on your screen?

  3. Visual Clarity: Are the community cards and pot amounts instantly readable?

How to join the closed test:

  1. Join the Google Group (Play Store requires this for closed tests): https://groups.google.com/g/snapcall-testers

  2. Opt in on Google Play: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/in.nextgenstudios.snapcall

  3. Download from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.nextgenstudios.snapcall

(If you're an indie dev running your own 14-day closed test, let me know in the comments—happy to test yours in return!)

Thanks for taking a look and helping make this better.

100% Datenschutz: Kein Cloud-Sync, kein Tracking, keine Server beteiligt.

Looking for app developers to test AppOrient’s launch and growth workflow (web, free beta)

Thumbnail
gallery
• Upvotes

I'm the maker of AppOrient, a web app for developers preparing a Google Play or App Store launch, or working on an existing app. I'm looking for feedback on the first-use experience and whether the workflow is easy to follow.

What it does: organizes public review research and competitor observations, helps prepare positioning and store copy, and brings creative assets and launch checks into the same workspace. After launch, review themes and experiment ideas can be kept there too. Screenshot Studio is an included feature.

Try it here: https://apporient.com

The current open beta is free, requires an account, and includes one app across Android and iOS plus a limited AI allowance. No card is required. You review AI suggestions and publish through the store consoles yourself.

If you test it, I'd especially like to know:

  1. Is it clear where to start for a new app versus a live app?

  2. After adding your app, can you understand the next useful action?

  3. Which step feels confusing or asks for too much information?

The attached screens use Pacemark, an invented demo app with example data, not customer results. I'm the solo maker; this post was prepared with AI assistance.

[iOS] Looking for 3–5 people to try the first 10 minutes of my Chinese-character app

Hi everyone — I’m the developer of Learn Hanzi with Panda, a Chinese-character learning app with stroke tracing, listening games and short bilingual stories.

I’d like 3–5 adults with an iPhone or iPad (iOS/iPadOS 17+) to try a short first session. Parents teaching Chinese at home would be especially helpful, but you don’t need to read Chinese to spot confusing navigation.

Could you try opening it for the first time, completing one learning activity, finding the progress area, and locating the subscription options? About 10 minutes is enough.

The app is free to download with optional in-app purchases. You don’t need to buy anything or start a trial. If a paywall stops you, just tell me where and stop there.

What I most want to know: where did you get stuck or want to stop, and what did you expect to happen instead? If something breaks, a device model and a screenshot would help. Please DM me your notes; I’m asking for private feedback, not an App Store rating or review.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6792207911

Thanks for taking a look. Even one specific problem is useful.

I built a tool that lets you reply to your Telegram bot's users by hand, as the bot. Looking for feedback on onboarding

I built botcontrol, a tool that helps people who run a Telegram bot answer their customers personally, without giving out their own Telegram account.

You can try it here: https://botcontrol.chocomarsh.com

What it does You connect your Telegram bot, and every message people send it shows up in one inbox in your browser. You type a reply, and the person gets it from the bot, as if the bot answered itself.

  • All dialogs in one list, with unread counters and a "waiting for a reply" filter
  • Photos, videos and voice messages show right in the chat; you can reply with photos and videos
  • Invite teammates: everyone sees the same chats, and each reply shows who wrote it
  • Email or Telegram notifications when someone writes and nobody is online
  • If your bot already works, connecting it doesn't break it: its usual logic keeps running

How to test it (~5 minutes)

  1. In Telegram, message @BotFather → /newbot → copy the token it gives you
  2. Open the link above and log in with your email (no password, you get a login link)
  3. Paste the token
  4. From your phone, send a message to your new bot. It appears in the panel; reply from there and check that it arrives in Telegram

What I'd like feedback on

  1. Landing page: after reading it, was it clear what this is and who it's for?
  2. Onboarding: where did you get stuck or hesitate (creating the bot, logging in, pasting the token)?
  3. Replying: does the chat feel natural? Anything you expected but didn't find?
  4. Trust: would you hesitate to connect a real business bot to a third-party service? What would make you comfortable?
  5. Pricing: it's free right now. If it became paid, what would feel fair for a small business: per bot, per teammate, or something else?

Any feedback is welcome, including "I didn't get it". Thanks!

However, its value heavily depends on the amount of the actual social activity on it, and I desperately need the first couple dozen posts and users for launch.

The site is here:

If you care about the cause or are just interested, make a post or two, vote on other posts if they interest you. I'll be thankful for any activity as well as criticism

Help test HANABI, animated TV discovery and favorites app

Hi everyone! I’m building HANABI for animation fans and looking for 10–20 adult volunteers to try a free pilot on their phones or computers.

You can search animated TV shows, including ended and canceled series, explore show and character information, and save favorites in your browser.

Try it here:
https://hanabi-tv-pilot-test-4fym7yvzv-steadfoundry.vercel.app/?_vercel_share=rm3Db36LPOxkm293PL9PhPBTGExajWkY

The tester link is available until November 4 at 02:00 UTC.

Please try searching for a show, saving it, returning later to check your favorites, and opening its watch link. I’d appreciate feedback on:

  1. Could you find the show you wanted?
  2. Did saving and returning to favorites work?
  3. Was opening JustWatch and returning to HANABI clear?
  4. please include your country along with your device and browser.

I’d also collect whether they found their show, saved it successfully, and returned from JustWatch. No need to rebuild from this comment alone. I haven’t posted the reply.

A few pilot limitations: favorites stay in the same browser and don’t sync across devices. Watch links open US JustWatch searches; HANABI doesn’t stream episodes or verify current streaming offers. Ads and the proposed $4.99 Club membership are previews only. No payment is required.

Please leave feedback in the comments with your device/browser and any steps that caused a problem. Avoid personal information in screenshots. Thanks for helping me improve it!

[beta testers wanted] help test lushmc’s earth frontier and rebuilt raft survival

we’re looking for players who want to help test two gamemodes we’re building for lushmc reforged.

earth frontierĀ takes place on a real-world map, but the civilizations are made by players. there are no premade towns or nations to join, players will create settlements, claim land, trade, cooperate, and decide what their part of the world becomes.

raft survivalĀ starts you with almost nothing on the ocean. you build up your raft, gather what you need to survive, and work through threats like sharks, seagulls, hunger, and thirst. we’re rebuilding the experience with a focus on making the start clearer and the progression more satisfying.

both gamemodes are still in development. we want testers who will play, tell us where they get confused or bored, report bugs, and give honest feedback, including when an idea doesn’t work. there’s no confirmed release date, and testing invites will go out as builds are ready.

interested? join our discord and look for the beta tester application:Ā https://discord.gg/bTmZjQTEQ9

[Web beta] Five adult volunteers to try Mira, an AI companion in English, Portuguese or Spanish

I run Mira, a small AI-assisted project, and I'm looking for up to five adults to try a free private beta in their browser.

Mira is a fictional AI character for light conversation: talking about your day, swapping book or music ideas, or finding the words to reconnect with someone. Friendship is the default; gentle nonsexual romance is optional. She's an AI, and this isn't therapy or emergency support.

The test: have one 5–10 minute chat in English, Portuguese or Spanish. If you're willing, tell me:

  • Was it clear what Mira is and how your messages are handled?
  • What felt natural, awkward or confusing?
  • Would you choose to use it again? Why or why not?

Current limits: text only, no persistent conversation memory, voice or video. Up to 15 replies per person per day, subject to a shared monthly allowance. The pilot is free and unpaid, with no payment card or positive review required.

It's an invitation-only pilot, not an open demo. Mira's public introduction and contact profile shows the character. To request a place, DM MIRA there. The automated welcome explains the pilot before asking for adult confirmation, language and a private invitation email. Access is arranged at scheduled checks, not instantly.

In the app, messages and recent context go to Anthropic after consent. Mira doesn't save chat transcripts; Anthropic has its own retention policy. The operator can read invitation messages. Please keep emails and personal details out of public comments; fictional chat topics are fine for testing.

Happy to answer questions here. Honest criticism is useful, and you can stop whenever you want.

Looking for beta testers for Thornwake, a free dark-fantasy idle RPG (Android APK + browser)

Hey everyone! I'm a solo dev building Thornwake, an idle hunting RPG set in the Briar, a forest kingdom swallowed by thorns. It's playable now, and I'm looking for beta testers to help me find bugs, balance the game and polish it before a wider launch.

What it is

4 classes, 8 specs: Vanguard (tank), Warden (fast archer with blind/miss/paralyze), Thornseer (spells and nature) and Gravecaller (death magic). Each has two specs, a talent tree and its own look.

Idle hunting with real decisions: hunt in the background, then make choices with your gear, sockets, gems, sigils and relics.

33 zones across 3 realms, plus a story campaign (Act I) with painted chapters and characters.

7 dungeons, each with a Hard mode: a second, much tougher run with better loot.

Beasts and mounts to hatch, level, star up and gear, each with its own animated art.

Multiplayer: clans, Arena PvP with ranks, daily bosses and a server-wide raid boss, plus live events.

Free to play, with optional purchases. Daily chests are earned by playing, not by watching ads.

Where to play

🌐 Browser (any phone or PC, including iPhone): https://thornwake.app

šŸ¤– Android APK: https://thornwake.app/Thornwake.apk (allow "install from unknown sources" when Android asks)

šŸ’¬ Discord (bug reports, feedback, patch notes): https://discord.gg/wpKGZBFZMD

What I'd love help with

Bugs: anything broken, stuck, confusing or wrong. Screenshots help a ton.

Balance: is anything too easy, too grindy or too generous (energy, bosses, dungeons, gear)?

UI and feel: does it look good and read well on your phone? What's hard to find?

First impressions: what hooked you, and what made you want to stop?

Post reports in the Discord's #bug-reports channel. I read everything and push fixes often, sometimes the same day. Early testers have already helped shape the dungeons, the leaderboards and the shop.

Thanks for checking it out! Happy to answer questions in the comments. 🌿

[Android, free] Parents wanted to test illumable, outdoor time tracking and coaching for kids

Hi everyone! I'm building illumable, a free app that helps parents track their children's outdoor time and provides coaching to help them build outdoor habits.

I'm looking for parents with Android phones willing to try it for around two weeks and share honest feedback.

It starts with a baseline period, usually about five days, covering three weekdays and at least one weekend day to estimate your child's normal outdoor time. During this period, track your usual routine without deliberately changing it. Coaching follows once the baseline is complete.

illumable is designed to work with a wearable planned for release in early 2027, but you can also use the app on its own. No wearable is needed for this test.

I'd love to know:

• Is setup straightforward?

• Is tracking your child's outdoor time easy?

• Is the baseline process clear and manageable?

• Is the coaching useful and realistic for your family?

• Is anything confusing or broken?

Android testing is free. Download the APK here:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/40wiwlykl5chepamwbbjt/illumable-v1.9.3-38-842fd11-release.apk?rlkey=r5hdjw7l73fp4o750p3s219qp&st=obp8ge38&dl=0

This is a direct APK download, installed outside Google Play.

Using an iPhone? Let me know if you're interested in testing through TestFlight.

Feedback here or by DM is welcome. If you hit a bug, your phone model and Android version would help me investigate. Thanks for helping me improve illumable!

Looking for Apple TV testers — WallGlo turns the TV into a photo wall

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi folks! I hope this is allowed. Apologies if this is the wrong spot.

I'm getting ready to release WallGlo, an Apple TV app that turns the TV into a photo wall. It puts several framed photos on screen at once, like a gallery wall, instead of one photo sliding past. You build the album on iPhone (family, a baby, a birthday, a wedding, or any event), then pair the TV by scanning the QR code on the screen.

I'm close to App Store submission and need people with an Apple TV and an iPhone to try the beta and tell me what breaks. The useful test is installing it on both, pairing, and leaving a wall up for a bit.

If you want to try it, the beta is here:Ā https://wallglo.com

Same Apple Account on both devices, and TestFlight installed on the iPhone and the Apple TV. A comment here with what went wrong is plenty. Happy to give anyone who sends feedback a free subscription once it's on the App Store.

[Opportunity] Call It Done - looking for testers for a to-do app that hides your to-do list

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have a weird relationship with to-do apps. I'll happily spend half an hour sorting and tagging everything, then close the app and not do any of it. the important stuff just sits there

so I built Call It Done. it only ever shows you one task. you finish it, press done, the next one appears. there's also a way to pick 3 must-dos for the day and a focus timer for when you're stuck

it works on iphone + apple watch and android + wear os, and it's free during the beta

I'm mostly looking for people who:

- have a to-do list they keep avoiding

- will use it for a few days with real tasks

- will tell me honestly what felt off

if you're on android, google needs testers to stay in for 14 days before I can launch, so please keep it installed for 2 weeks if you can šŸ™

happy to test your app back if you're also looking for testers

[Mac / Linux] I’m building MODO, a free visual UI editor, and would love feedback from people using it over time

Hi everyone, I’m Gianluca, a UI designer and the person building MODO.

I started it because I wanted to spend less time rebuilding the same interface between design and code. MODO is a desktop app where you design screens visually, reuse components, keep project files on your computer, and export HTML/CSS, SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose. You still add the application logic yourself.

I’ve just released 0.1.0-alpha.6, with component variants, interactive HTML previews and better connections to coding assistants. It’s still an alpha, so there are rough edges. I know some of them rather personally by now šŸ™‚

I’d love to find a few designers or developers who feel like exploring it in their own way, trying a small project, then coming back as it improves. There’s no fixed test script or commitment. I’m interested in whether it becomes useful after the first look.

A few things I’d really appreciate hearing:

• Was getting started straightforward, or did something leave you guessing?

• Where did MODO help your workflow, and where did you reach for another tool?

• What would make you want to keep using it? What would stop you?

Free download and platform details: https://inmodo.app

Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 13+) and supported Linux systems. Windows isn’t available yet. Testing is voluntary and unpaid.

You can leave feedback here whenever you have something to share. For bugs, your OS and the steps that led to the problem help a lot; please leave private project details out.

I’d like MODO to grow with the people using it. Honest criticism is welcome, including ā€œGianluca, this made perfect sense only to you.ā€ Thank you for giving it a chance.

Testers needed, couples preferred

Building Charged, a check-in app for couples — instead of wondering how your partner's doing, you each keep a simple "battery" that reflects it honestly, updated through quick daily check-ins. There's also an AI companion (Ember) if you'd rather talk than tap through questions.

Looking for real Android testers — actually using it for a couple weeks, checking in when it prompts you, pairing up with a partner if you've got one.

Android — three quick steps, no sign-up needed:

Join group: https://groups.google.com/g/charged-testers

Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/love.charged.app

Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=love.charged.app

iPhone — no sign-up needed, just join directly:

[12 Testers] inkPad, a free handwriting PDF annotator for Android tablets

Hi, I'm a solo dev building inkPad, a free handwriting PDF annotator for Android tablets. It is for reading long PDFs with a stylus: write in the margins, extend the page to add notes beside the text, search your handwriting on device, and export your notes as PDF or JPG. No ads, no tracking.

I need testers for the Google Play closed test. You need an Android tablet with a stylus, and please stay opted in through early November so Google counts the 14 day test period. Installing through the Play link below is what counts, not a sideloaded APK.

3 steps to join:

  1. Join the Google Group:Ā https://groups.google.com/g/inkpads-testers
  2. Opt in:Ā https://play.google.com/apps/testing/work.inkpad.app
  3. Install:Ā https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=work.inkpad.app

Building a fitness progress app — I’d love honest feedback

Hello Reddit. My project is a web app for tracking fitness progress over time and having a record of your own transformation. Works by creating a cycle, and adding dated photos or videos with optional measurements, allowing you to look back and see what has changed. It also offers you valuable analysis charts and fun stuff :)

It’s still a work in progress, so honest criticism is welcome. Here’s the site if you’d like to take a look on desktop or your phone: https://transformhub.app/

There are two money-related parts I would like opinions on. The current plan is 15 days to try it from the start of a cycle, then Premium for ongoing tracking (around $7.99/month or $69.99/year). There’s also a daily check-in rule during a cycle: if you miss a day, you can still see your saved progress, but you need to recover before adding another entry. The first recovery is free. Later ones cost $10, then $20, and so on, up to $100. That recovery cost is separate from Premium.

Does the app itself feel useful? Or would your camera roll and notes do the job? And how do the Premium and missed-day rules land with you? Like motivating, frustrating, or something else?

Please be blunt :) No need to share personal photos here.

Looking for 5 testers for a browser- based AI learning experience

Hi everyone!

I've been building something called AI Opportunity World, and I'm looking for five people willing to test the first mission and give me honest feedback.

It's an interactive learning adventure designed to teach practical AI skills through real-world situations rather than traditional courses or quizzes.

In the first mission, you'll:

  • Handle customer requests using AI
  • Investigate a business problem
  • Identify privacy risks
  • Build an automation workflow
  • Fact-check AI-generated information

Playtest details:

  • Platform: Web browser
  • Cost: Completely free
  • Experience required: None
  • Compensation: Unpaid
  • Feedback: Short Google Form after playing

Play the game: https://ai-opportunity-world-advent-530.created.app/

Feedback form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe0LKqP6H_DV8AG9UjbpdTPYxgrr7YEnrazxLiHvFCb2Bz3zw/viewform

I'm especially interested in knowing whether the instructions are clear, whether the challenges are engaging, and whether anything breaks or becomes confusing.

This is an early version with one complete mission. Additional areas are still in development.

Constructive criticism is very welcome! Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try.
