Discussion Tier 2 (Scribes) in the upcoming DLC (Dawn of the Delta) will only have ONE new need/good
Product Needs are:
Bread
Cheese
Sandals
Soap
Brooches
Papyrus Scripts
Olive oil
A bit disappointed honestly. I understand it's the roman path and there needs to be cross-region dependency, but this is a bit too extreme in one direction.
I would have liked one new good in each category at least. And to have cross region dependency on intermediate products instead of just end products (e.g. Cloth, Cushions, Tyrion purple, gold bars etc.).
Or maybe even have the end-products from one region be a part of a new chain in Aegyptus (e.g. Cheese is an intermediate requirement for a food that needs other local goods to make a complex end product).
Anno is about complex production chains and logistics. This was the great thing about oil and electricity (and steamships etc). While it is not possible to have that in AD 117, it should be possible to be ingenious to capture the similar essence of what made 1800 successful.
Tier 2 roman looks kinda boring sadly.

Discussion Rock Tomb
I noticed this structure in the new video introducing the residents of aegyptus and on the live stream on Twitch. I thought it was just ruins placed randomly for decorations. Judging by its name and the way it is placed, it looks like it requires a cliff slot to be placed.

General I summarized the Dawn of Delta Live Stream in case you want a short version of it
Mod Waders in Latium Cosmetic Mod (anno 117)
Simple cosmetic skin mod 'Wader Refuge.' Residences, taverns, and markets in Latium can be switched to their Albion skins. It does NOT add Waders, it just changes the Liberti tier 1 houses.

General Price for dawn of the delta
Has the price for Dawn of the Delta already been communicated? As I’m not interested in the hippodrome dlc, I’m wondering if it would make sense to get the pass, or if I should just buy dawn of the delta seperately.

Bug New Horizons bug?
Hi everyone, I'm trying to unload some silver, tungsten and diamonds on Crown Falls, that I generated in Horai by importing trade licenses from Magnates on Crown Falls, so I can trade stuff in Docklands, TLDR the bulk freighter I'm using to bring the silver, tungsten and diamonds from Horai to Crown Falls won't actually allow me to unload them at another port??? why is this? is this a bug? otherwise what's the point of these things items being in game if oyu can't move them between regions

Discussion Anno 117 0 Religion Glitch: Asking if anyone else has experienced it?
I was playing 117 (on console) and dealing with an inferno when all of a sudden my reputation drops by 5 due to my lack of Mars worship which confused me since most of my main island's are dedicated to him. But when I check my worship it is completely at zero, I try to look at my temples to see if somethings happened but when I tried to I have been locked out. I've had to reload the save and that seems to have fixed it but I'm still so confused why it happened
I checked all the status effects on my islands and not a single one negatively affected beliefs. Has anyone else experienced this glitch on console?

Discussion The dwellings of the libertines and the plebeians.
Here are a few thoughts I have about residential development in Anno 117:
I would like the game to include the ability to upgrade the houses of libertines and plebeians into multi‑story insulae. For example, when a single libertin or plebeian dwelling reaches a population of 15 people, it would be necessary to upgrade the dwelling to a level 1 insula, and when the population reaches 30, it would be necessary to upgrade the insula to level 2 by adding floors.
It would also be great if goods and public buildings that generate income and prestige improved the visual appearance of these dwellings. For example, if the population receives few such goods, their homes look minimalist and shabby, but if they have an abundance of these goods, their homes look noticeably more opulent.
Perhaps people in this community will have better ideas. I’d also like to hear your suggestions and thoughts.
Discussion Is it just me or do the devs seem kinda lazy about 117?
Dont get me wrong i still enjoy the game but im Just confused about the lack of variations in buildings. Cant be that hard to implement more visual variations so i dont have to use Roman Style buildings in an Albion settlement where i want to choose the celtic path for example. I Just dont get why they dont do more skins.
General TIL that The Passage is inspired by the Franklin expedition to discourage a North West Passage in the Canadian arctic!
Its actually pretty closely related kind of! Even down to his wife funding some expeditions to find him!

Screenshot Imperial Thermae of Cinis
I have always been fascinated by the imperial baths of Rome; such vast, monumental structures demonstrate just how important hygiene was to the Romans. So, by utilizing various decoration mods, (a HUGE thank you to their creators, none of this would have been possible without them), I built the Imperial Thermae of Cinis!
This is my first attempt at creating something monumental and beautiful by combining a variety of decorative objects. It could probably have been done better, but to be honest, I don’t have the best imagination, haha!
I’m also curious to know: would the community, like me, be interested in seeing another monument (perhaps in a future season?) that includes the option to build a large bath complex?

Discussion Anno 117 story campaign and Dawn of Delta DLC
Im honestly impressed by the writing quality of the campaign in Anno 117. I chose Marcia and a lot of her dialouge is really well written, meta commentary, the story is quite interesting and builds up a lot of mystery. Sadly it never goes beyond act 2 and like 10 story arcs are unresolved.
Since both campaign characters originate from the Delta region, do we have any information about a continuation of the campaign?

Question Is an positive city achievable?
My city has level 8 growing city which means happines -10.2 health -8.4 fire safety -6. I Have city watches on every corner aswell as latrines and wells! I also have medici, vigiles stations and custodia stations everywhere everybody has access to an theater, sanctuary, tavern, and all latium needs! So how is my Health -1.5K, Happiness -1.7K, and Fire safety -1.3K? ( I have all dlc's ) So is there an way to get it to positive? And mind you my city is at it's start of growth! ( most albion things arent available right now because of well... read my previous post!) Also I'm not hating ;) I still love this game!

Question Stuttering when looking at big cities
My game drops down to 20 frames a second when i move the camera on big, built up islands by both the AI and myself. Its fine when i dont move the camera.
I tried lowering my graphics settings, but it makes no difference. Medium settings or maxed out are exactly the same.
When i look at my task manager, neither my CPU nor my RAM is even close to their capacity.
Have you had similar issues and could you solve them somehow? I think in my 1800 campaign i eventually killed all the AI competitors because their ships slowed down the game performance.
Also, i have had a siege going on with Voada for hours. Basically, my ships have been sitting in her harbour forever so she cant make ships to raid me. Does that slow down the game, because it makes her move her units around?
I would love to have some performance settings. The rival AIs never attack trader AIs, so after the raider of a session is dead, the trader ships (Diana and Valeria for example) could be disabled and their trade just happens by teleportation. Its not pretty, but neither is a stuttering game.
Edit: My specs are:
Intel i9-9900K
Nvidia RTX 4070 Super
32GB RAM
The game is stored on my NVME SSD
