Sheldon really loved his mom. How he made her believe again and always stuck by her even if they had different opinions and beliefs is truly under rated.

Discussion I hate the treatment Missy in the fandom

By the fandom as well. Some people say “oh but when Mary tried to bond or talk with Missy she rejected her” what would you do if someone who constantly ignored you and blamed you for things suddenly tried to bond with you? It’s natural of Missy to be suspicious. And trying to bond with her doesn’t erase the MOUNTAIN of emotional neglect. I believe that Mary really does love Missy, but that doesn’t make her a good mother. Her favoritism towards Sheldon is a bright red sign. Also people seem to forget that Missy is a CHILD, an emotionally neglected child who naturally acts out. Mary is the parent, Missy is the child, responsibility is NOT equal. People seem to love to overlook what emotional neglect can do and I HATE that.

I am a special needs who is highly dependent on my mom, but my mom still doesn’t overlook my sisters or emotionally neglect them or forget them or anything, she treats us all how we need to be treated, and I am not the center of attention just because I need more. Mary CAN do better, and it is entirely on her that she doesn’t

Opinion Underrated Scene

I don't even know for how long I kept laughing when I saw this scene. It was so funny that Georgie didn't pay Billy Sparks $2 because he only wanted one💀💀😭😭🤣🤣

Billy was just something else-

Discussion Shouldn't Sheldon be fully aware of how dangerous it is to praise communism where he lives?

• Upvotes

Sheldon nearly got his family blacklisted because he openly endorsed communism as a preferable system.

I know Sheldon is as stupid as Billy when it comes to unwritten social norms, but this is not one of those cases because he is well familiar with Texas culture and the fact that there was a Cold War going on. Not to mention he is well versed in history, so he should know that being labelled a communist in America at the time could ruin your life, especially in a conservative state.

Opinion Who else feels that Mary was a better mother to Sheldon than Georgie and Missy?

Post image
12 Upvotes

Mary was a very complicated yet messy mother. She favored Sheldon in a very obvious way. She treated Missy like crap, constantly calling her a brat or yelling at her when she was visible upset and would almsot always take Sheldon side even when he was more wrong than right. She is partly to blame to why Sheldon grew up so entitled and spoiled. George and Mee Maw also would favored him a bit too much but way less than Mary.

Question My Unpopular opinion about Missy, what is yours? Spoiler

Post image
• Upvotes

Just in case you can't read the text. It said, "Unpopular Opinion

Missy wasn't a brat or wrong for how she behaved with her mother. Her mother was her first bully and Mary was so immature when it came to her children. Mary is lucky that Missy still wanted a relationship with her because if I were her, I would've gone no contact with her as an adult. And Sheldon was so lucky that she also spoke to him because in reality, she would've cut him off too"

Looks like Jana is going to be on a future episode of Georgie & Mandy.

Ava Allan who played Jana was on the Georgie & Mandy set today for preshoots. They're shooting the episode tomorrow night. Maybe they're going to do a storyline where Jana tries to steal Georgie from Mandy. Or maybe she gets a job at the preschool where CeeCee attends.

Opinion Finally watched

I watched the last few episodes and I was not prepared for George’s death. That absolutely wrecked me. Every one on the planet knew he died when Sheldon was young. But damn did they just write perfect episodes leading up to and including those two. Damn my allergies 👀

Question The Geiger Girls

In the Big Bang Theory, Leonard mentions a dietitian who works at the university named Olivia Geiger (he wanted to ask her out early in Season 1).

Today I realized Sheldon and Tam were in the Medford High library talking about 'males doing sketchy things to get females' and Tam mentioned Jessica Geiger.

Are the Geiger girls sisters, cousins, or is it just coincidence?

Big Bang Theory Remake to align with Young Sheldon?

Young Sheldon was so successful and well done, I wonder what the odds of a Big Bang Theory remake would be if it abandoned the currently established lore and followed a more natural character arc based on Young Sheldon?

News Young Sheldon star McKenna Grace jokes her character, Paige "would have killed" Sheldon if the show had ever made them a couple, according to a new behind-the-scenes book by Jessica Radloff.

"I can't imagine at that stage in their lives that she would have wanted to date Sheldon. I think she would have killed him. [Laughs] Though I do think there was a nice connection between the two, even though he was kind of a dingus when it came down to it."- Grace said in her interview excerpt.
