I can't remember when the last time I was really exited about a cozy game I do hope it comes out this year 😍

I don't know about you guys, but I was honestly more excited for the new Witchbrook character reveal than the pre-launch program for Petit Planet. Of course, Petit Planet looks like a good game and I’ll definitely be playing it, but I think I’m just way more hyped for Witchbrook.

Personally for me I am more excited for the opportunity to run our own business, I like the idea of a magic twist to it, a delivery system and the Sunday market. Overall it sounds interesting balancing work and studies while keeping room for hobbies and side quests.

Well the my view, what about yours?

Some new info has been shared on discord recently, including an overview of how the multiplayer cottages work, a screenshot of the autumn menu at Caffeina, and a hint at a new character reveal coming before Halloween. Hopefully the reveal also means a new dev blog is on the way!
It’s nice that the devs added some realism with the coffee prices 🫠😭

Tiy gave some further updates about the current progress of the game through the final stages of development.
He stated that localisation and porting are ongoing, the CF are now working on bug fixes and polishing. He was open about the fact that they could run into Christmas closures but reassured that this would only mean a delay to January at the latest.

I know we've all been waiting for this game for quite some time, but is anyone actually excited for when the game comes out? Every time I come into this community to see news and sneak peeks of content I'm bombarded by posts just being extremely negative. I get being frustrated about the timeline of the game but I feel like it's getting a little overboard.
There are so many other things to be doing/games to be playing while we wait. I don't understand why everyone is so upset. The devs want the game to be as good as possible and I'm fine with waiting. I'm fine with playing other games that might come out or games on my backlog while I wait. I'm still very excited about that game, but I feel like there are a lot of people here that aren't? I don't understand why come to complain about the same things over and over instead of just pushing it out of your mind until the game arrives.
Maybe I'm just being too optimistic, but its really disheartening to see so many people still in this community that seem to just want to be negative, when I just want to see new pieces of content every now and again.
So I hope there are people here who are still excited for when the game actually comes out, because I definitely am and can't wait to play it.

Aside from a release or announcement (to the cheeky monkeys who were about to answer that way.)
I'm personally just really looking forward to the school system itself. I've always been a big fan of university-type mechanics in other games (Sims University, mainly) and I love checklists to succeed.
The thing I'm looking forward to least is probably the wand pattern mechanic. I didn't like it in Moonlight Peaks and I don't think I'll like it here (especially if the foraging one needs cast every single time you want to collect a seed, as opposed to being active for a certain time or radius.)
Thoughts?

It's gone quiet again and I'm starting to get nervous. No date, no preorders, no hype push, nothing.
Part of me still hopes for a Halloween drop, but after last year's delay this silence feels kinda familiar. What are you guys thinking, still this year or 2027?

Everyone seems convinced they won’t drop the game in November because of GTA6, so I’d like to know what the actually crossover between those to games. So who here plays GTA games or is planning to play GTA6?
Edit: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED! I did not think I would get this many responses! I’m going to read through the responses and then post my official findings if anyone cares lol

A few months back I predicted on here that the game would release the week of Halloween, just feels like the perfect game for that. And it just barely gets them out of the GTA 6 line of fire. Would be a fun pickup to work on for like 20 days before GTA 6 drops, if not I don’t see them dropping until late December.
Thoughts? Has there been any more updates I’m unaware of? Is a release date looking more or less likely

Unless they changed their mind and I missed it, they mentioned that there will not be combat added yet to the 1.0 release of their game.
So enjoy it as it is when it does come out!
