Looking for friends for gaming, watch soccer and occasionally hang out with.
30 M. Tamil, but can speak English. Animator. Residing in Surrey. Married.
I've lived in North Van, Vancouver, Burnaby and followed by Surrey, for around 6 years now. Despite attending school here and working in multiple studios, I've found it very hard to make friends. This is majorly due to me being an introvert and insecurity about my communication skills.
I am looking for a long term friends. A bit about my likes and hobbies. I am a huge Manchester United fan. So it'd be great to watch matches together with a friend. For multiplayer gaming, I majorly play Rainbow Six Siege, Call of duty (Multiplayer, no warzone) and Fifa (FC 27). But I love playing single player games and campaign modes. The red dead redemption 2 and playstation exclusives such as ghost of tsushima and yotei, uncharted, spider-man and god of war franchises are some of my favorites. I like to hangout in discord a lot after my 9-5. Mostly there to chat/talk to friends and family whenever they are available. Indian cuisine is my go to, but I'm open to trying any new cuisines. Anything except sushi coz raw fish is never my cup of tea, but I love ramen in the contrary. I love watching movies and try to catch big screen movies in the biggest screens possible (I love the Langley imax 70mm). I avoid horror, psycho killer gorefest flicks. I've recently started collecting 4k blurays as well. I love Tamil Cinema and it's music, and I'd love to introduce any potential new friends to it, if they are new to it. In the western stage, I like a bunch of artists. Eminem, Avicii, Logic, ACDC, Stormzy, Hans Zimmer (I love movie scores too) to name a few. The Big Bang Theory and Brooklyn 99 are my comfort shows. I like cooking occasionally as well, mostly south Indian recipes for now.
I love my wife dearly. But a bunch of our likes misalign. She prefers cozy games, doesn't play fps and/or action-adventure, young adult books and is strictly vegetarian whereas, I like action games, have a hard time reading books and love non-vegetarian food. But that's okay, which is why I'm looking for friends to share my interests with.
I work a 5-day 9-5 remotely, but most days it extends a hour or so due to the animator crunch life. So irl hangouts, if any, would mostly be in the weekends. I'd also love to collaborate with creative minds on personal projects such as animation pieces, content creation, etc.
If this is something you'd vibe with. Hit me up!
P.S. Bonus Brownie points if you can speak Tamil! 😉
